Abstract
Site-selective C-H fluorination is an attractive strategy for directly transforming inert C-H bonds into C-F bonds, yet it remains a significant challenge. Herein, we have developed an efficient and versatile strategy for site-selective fluorination and amination of phenylalanine-containing peptides via late-stage Pd-catalyzed δ-C(sp2)-H activation, providing a valuable tool for the in situ synthesis of fluorinated indoline scaffolds within peptides.

Abstract
Herein, by exploiting different activation modes of fluoroamides, we achieved α- and δ-C(sp3)-H alkylation of nitroalkanes with switchable regioselectivity. Cu catalysis enabled the interception of a distal C-centered radical by a N-centered radical to couple nitroalkanes and unactivated δ-C-H bonds. In addition, imines generated in situ by fluoroamides were trapped by nitroalkanes to realize the α-C-H alkylation of amides. Both of those scalable protocols have broad substrate scopes and good functional group tolerance.

Abstract
Herein, we describe the copper-catalyzed arylalkylation of activated alkenes via hydrogen-atom transfer and aryl migration strategy. The reaction was carried out through a radical-mediated continuous migration pathway using N-fluorosulfonamides as the alkyl source. The primary, secondary, and tertiary alkyl radicals formed by intramolecular hydrogen-atom transfer proceeded smoothly. This methodology is an efficient approach for the synthesis of various amide derivatives possessing a quaternary carbon center with good yields and high regioselectivity.

Abstract
The direct functionalization of inert C(sp3 )-H bonds under environmentally benign catalytic conditions remains a challenging task in synthetic chemistry. Here, we report an organocatalytic remote C(sp3 )-H acylation of amides and cascade cyclization through a radical-mediated 1,5-hydrogen atom transfer mechanism using N-heterocyclic carbene as the catalyst. Notably, a diversity of nitrogen-containing substrates, including simple linear aliphatic carbamates and ortho-alkyl benzamides, can be successfully applied to this organocatalytic system. With the established protocol, over 120 examples of functionalized δ-amino ketones and isoquinolinones with diverse substituents were easily synthesized in up to 99 % yield under mild conditions. The robustness and generality of the organocatalytic strategy were further highlighted by the successful acylation of unactivated C(sp3 )-H bonds and late-stage modification of pharmaceutical molecules. Then, the asymmetric control of the radical reaction was attempted and proven feasible by using a newly designed chiral thiazolium catalyst, and moderate enantioselectivity was obtained at the current stage. Preliminary mechanistic investigations including several control reactions, KIE experiments, and computational studies shed light on the organocatalytic radical reaction mechanism.

Abstract
A copper-catalyzed δ-regioselective C(sp3)-H heteroarylation of N-fluorosulfonamides has been developed. A broad range of heteroarenes were well tolerated and reacted with various N-fluorosulfonamides to give the corresponding heteroarylated amides in good yields. Notably, all types (1°, 2°, and 3°) of δ-C(sp3)-H bonds in the N-fluorosulfonamides could be regioselectively activated through the 1,5-HAT process. This protocol provides a practical strategy for the functionalization of heteroarenes and amides via forging a C(sp3)-C(sp2) bond.

Abstract
Catalytic hydroamination of the readily available alkenes is among the most straightforward means to construct diverse alkyl amines. To this end, the facile access to both regioselectivity, i.e., Markovnikov or anti-Markovnikov hydroamination, with minimum reaction-parameter alternation, remains challenging. Herein, we report a cobalt-catalyzed highly selective and divergent Markovnikov and anti-Markovnikov hydroamination of alkenes, in which the switch of regioselectivity is achieved simply by the variation of the addition sequence of 9-BBN.

Abstract
An efficient and general radical hydroamination of alkenes using Co(salen) as catalyst, N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSI) and its analogues as both nitrogen source and oxidant was successfully disclosed. A variety of alkenes, including aliphatic alkenes, styrenes, α, β-unsaturated esters, amides, acids, as well as enones, were all compatible to provide desired amination products. Mechanistic experiments suggest that the reaction underwent a metal-hydride-mediated hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) with alkene, followed by a pivotal catalyst controlled SN 2-like pathway between in situ generated organocobalt(IV) species and nitrogen-based nucleophiles. Moreover, by virtue of modified chiral cobalt(II)-salen catalyst, an unprecedented asymmetric version was also achieved with good to excellent level of enantiocontrol. This novel asymmetric radical C-N bond construction opens a new door for the challenging asymmetric radical hydrofunctionalization.

Abstract
A regioselective arylation of aliphatic N-fluorosulfonamides with imidazopyridines enabled by breaking of N-F and α C(sp3)-H bond to form C-N and C-C bonds was described. With CuCl as the catalyst, a radical mechanism was proposed to produce N-arylated aliphatic sulfonamides via a N radical intermediate. Importantly, under acidic conditions, an in situ generated imine was the possible intermediate, which was trapped by imidazopyridines to form α C(sp3)-H arylated aliphatic sulfonamides. The current protocol featured a broad substrate scope, tunable reaction conditions, operational convenience, and good regioselectivity.

Abstract
The iron-catalyzed δ-C(sp3)-H bond difluoromethylthiolation and difluoromethylselenation of aliphatic amides with high site selectivity are reported. Essential to the success is the employment of an amide radical formed in situ to activate the inert C(sp3)-H bond and the utilization of the easily handled PhSO2SCF2H and PhSO2SeCF2H as coupling reagents under mild conditions. This scalable protocol exhibits a broad substrate scope bearing versatile functional groups. Mechanistic studies indicate that the reaction proceeds through -SCF2H and -SeCF2H radical transfer.

Abstract
A cobalt-catalyzed aminofluorination reaction of styrenes with N-fluorosulfonamides serving as both the amination and fluorination agents has been developed. The switch of selectivity in this catalytic reaction from aminofluorination to diamination could be easily achieved by the addition of 1.0 equiv of PPh3. Both transformations tolerated a wide array of substrates under mild reaction conditions.

Abstract
This report describes the site-selective α-functionalization of sulfonylamide derivatives through the in-situ generation of imine intermediates. The N-F sulfonylamides, which could facilitate the elimination to generate imines, are coupled with TBACN to efficiently and mildly afford α-amino cyanides. Comparing with Strecker reaction, this transformation offers a complementary strategy to efficiently construct α-amino cyanides from direct α C-H functionalization of sulfonylamindes. The reaction is also characterized by broad substrate scope and flash chromatography column free workup. More importantly, the new two-electron pathway to generate imines through manipulation of the leaving group allows us to achieve excellent α site-selectivity.

Abstract
A TBN/O2-initiated oxidation of the relatively inert 3,4-C-H bonds of THIQs was accomplished, in which the existence of an α-phosphoric ester group is crucial to enable dioxygen trapping and intramolecular HAT (C-H activation relay, CHAR), realizing the synthesis of a series of isoquinolin-1-ones in high yields. The mechanistic study confirmed that the formation of the 3,4-double bond is mediated by the CHAR process. This work provides a new strategy to achieve remote C-H bond activation.

Abstract
A visible-light-promoted method for generating amidyl radicals from N-fluorosulfonamides via a manganese-catalyzed N-F bond activation strategy is reported. This protocol employs a simple manganese complex, Mn2(CO)10, as the precatalyst and a cheap silane, (MeO)3SiH, as both the hydrogen-atom donor and the F-atom acceptor, enabling intramolecular/intermolecular hydroaminations of alkenes, two-component carboamination of alkenes, and even three-component carboamination of alkenes. A wide range of valuable aliphatic sulfonamides can be readily prepared using these practical reactions.
