Abstract
Efficient copper-catalyzed radical thiocyanosulfonylation of alkenes and alkynes with potassium thiocyanate and sodium phenylsulfinate is described. The reactions provide general and convenient methods toward the synthesis of β-thiocyanoalkyl sulfones and β-thiocyanoalkenyl sulfones, respectively, in satisfactory yields. Based on conducted mechanistic experiments, a mechanism involving oxidative generation of sulfonyl radicals and subsequent addition to alkenes followed by Cu-assisted thiocyanation is proposed. Moreover, the practicability of the reaction is successfully demonstrated by its successful application on a gram scale.

Abstract
A method for the synthesis of furans bearing indoline skeletons was developed via an intramolecular palladium-catalyzed 5-exo-dig cyclization/etherification cascade of N-propargyl arylamines containing a 1,3-dicarbonyl side chain. This method realized the first capture of vinyl carbopalladiums by ketones as O-nucleophiles and showed a wide range of substrate tolerability affording trisubstituted furans in various yields. The enantioselective version for this domino process and diverse derivatizations of the reaction products were also studied.

Abstract
In general, the P-centered ring-opening of quaternary phosphirenium salts (QPrS) predominantly leads to hydrophosphorylated products, while the C-centered ring-opening is primarily confined to intramolecular nucleophilic reactions, resulting in the formation of phosphorus-containing cyclization products instead of difunctionalized products generated through intermolecular nucleophilic processes. Here, through the promotion of ring-opening of three-member rings by iodine anions and the quenching of electronegative carbon atoms by iodine cations, we successfully synthesize β-functionalized vinylphosphine oxides by the P-addition of QPrS intermediates generated in situ. Multiple β-iodo-substituted vinylphosphine oxides can be obtained with exceptional regio- and stereo-selectivity by reacting secondary phosphine oxides with unactivated alkynes. In addition, a variety of β-functionalized vinylphosphine oxides converted from C-I bonds, especially the rapid construction of benzo[b]phospholes oxides, demonstrates the significance of this strategy.

Abstract
A novel asymmetric radical strategy for the straightforward synthesis of atropisomerically chiral vinyl arenes has been established herein, proceeding through copper-catalyzed atroposelective cyanation/azidation of aryl-substituted vinyl radicals. Critical to the success of the radical relay process is the atroposelective capture of the highly reactive vinyl radicals with chiral L*Cu(II) cyanide or azide species. Moreover, these axially chiral vinylarene products can be easily transformed into atropisomerically enriched amides and amines, enantiomerically enriched benzyl nitriles via an axis-to-center chirality transfer process, and an atropisomerically pure organocatalyst for the chemo-, diastereo-, and enantioselective (4 + 2) cyclization reaction.

Abstract
Ultrasound has been successfully employed to promote the thiocyanation of the C═C bond in enaminones for the synthesis of α-thiocyanoketones and 2-aminothiazoles. The reactions of enaminones with ammonium thiocyanate provide α-thiocyanoketones with ultrasound irradiation at room temperature. More interestingly, simply further heating the vessel after ultrasonic irradiation leads to the selective synthesis of 2-aminothiazoles with an unconventional 4-aryl substructure.
