Abstract
Dearomative annulation reaction of acyl-tethered benzothiazole bisnucleophiles with β'-acetoxy allenoates by switching the Lewis base is developed. The DBU-catalyzed reaction gives benzothiazole-fused 1,4-dihydropyridine carboxylates by (3 + 3) annulation chemoselectively. By contrast, the PR3-catalyzed reaction gives benzothiazole-fused azepines by (4 + 3) annulation and cyclopentene carboxylates by (4 + 1) annulation; the ratio of the latter two products depends on the solvent. A possible rationale for the difference in the reactivity, based on the 1,4/1,5-addition of the 2-acyl-tethered benzothiazole to the key phosphonium intermediate, is provided.

Abstract
2,3-Allenamides are an important class of unsaturated group-substituted carbonyl compounds. A palladium-catalyzed aminocarbonylation of propargyl acetates with amines for the synthesized tri-/tetrasubstituted 2,3-allenamides has been developed. A broad range of tri-/tetrasubstituted 2,3-allenamides have been prepared from propargyl acetates in good to excellent yields. The reaction featured mild reaction conditions and good functional group tolerance. The applicability of this methodology was further highlighted by the late-stage modification of several natural products and pharmaceuticals.

Abstract
Herein, an efficient (tBuO)2Mg promoted [3 + 2] annulation of δ-acetoxy allenoates with N-benzylhydroxylamine has been developed. This method provides a concise and facile protocol to synthesize vinylated isoxazol-5(2H)-one derivatives stereospecifically in a broad substrate scope with high efficiency (31 examples, up to 87% yield).

Abstract
An efficient Ru(II)-catalyzed C-H activation-based spiroannulation of benzoxazines with the easily available benzoquinone and N-sulfonyl quinone monoimine has been realized, providing a straightforward strategy to access NH-containing spiropyrans in moderate to good yields with good functional group compatibility. The procedure features atom- and step-economy, mild conditions, and excellent chemoselectivity. Moreover, a catalytically competent five-membered cycloruthenated complex has been isolated.

Abstract
An unprecedented phosphine-catalyzed [5+1] annulation of β'-acetoxy allenoates with 1,5-dinucleophiles has been developed, which provides novel and facile access to functionalized tetrahydroquinolines in good to high yields in the presence of PPh3 and K3PO4 under mild reaction conditions. Notably, it is the first report of β'-acetoxy allenoates acting as C1 synthons in Lewis base-catalyzed annulation reactions.

Abstract
An unprecedented decomposition of unprotected alkynyl hydrazones is attempted that has provided allenoates, tetrasubstituted α,γ-dihaloallenoates, and functionalized tricyclic azepines. A reaction of alkynyl hydrazones with N-halosuccinimides captures the electrophile in 2-fold that delivers fully substituted dibromo- and diiodoallenoates in good yields. In addition, a DABCO-promoted Wolff-Kishner reduction of hydrazones, followed by isomerization, provides versatile allenoates under mild conditions. In contrast, a similar decomposition with ambiphilic DBU furnishes a completely different tricyclic azepine scaffold in excellent yield and diastereoselectivity.

Abstract
A DMAP-catalyzed sequential benzannulation and lactonization strategy in which δ-acetoxy allenoate functions as a 5C-synthon in its reaction with cyclic sulfamidate imines is reported. This platform delivers π-extended coumarin frameworks under metal-free conditions via allylic elimination followed by Mannich coupling, proton shifts, C-N bond cleavage, and lactonization as key steps. The driving force for this domino reaction is the formation of the diene-ammonium intermediate and O-S bond cleavage. ESI-HRMS has been useful in gaining insights into the reaction pathway.
