Abstract
The first Ni-catalyzed asymmetric decarboxylative strategy for the construction of carbocycles with contiguous quaternary all-carbon stereocenters is reported. The key to the success of these reactions is the utilization of rationally designed allenylic methylene cyclic carbonates as substrates with Ni catalysis. The floppy allenylic group exerts unique electronic properties on the carbonate, which allows further asymmetric nucleophilic annulations with alkenes. These reactions can be performed at room temperature and feature wide functional group tolerance with excellent asymmetric induction that is typically >94% ee. The mechanistic insights imply that this conceptually new chemistry is completely different from previous reports on the catalytic transformation of cyclic carbonates, and thus, it offers an inventive novel methodology to create complex enantio-enriched molecules.

Abstract
The palladium-catalyzed [3 + 2] decarboxylative cycloaddition of 4-vinyl-4-butyrolactones with sulfamate-derived cyclic imines has been developed, providing the sulfamate-fused pyrrolidine derivatives in high yields with good diastereoselectivities. The scale-up reaction and further derivation of the product worked well, demonstrating the potential application of the current reaction in organic synthesis. A plausible reaction mechanism was also proposed.

Abstract
A Pd-catalyzed asymmetric higher-order dipolar cycloaddition between allenyl carbonates and azadienes is achieved by exploiting novel alkylidene-π-allyl-Pd dipoles. This research provides a modular platform for the synthesis of challenging chiral endocyclic allenes bearing a medium-sized heterocyclic motif and a centrally chiral stereocenter in good yields with high enantio- and diastereoselectivities (29 examples, up to 97% yield, 97:3 er and >19:1 dr). Experimental and computational studies elucidate the possible reaction mechanism and the observed stereochemical results. Based on the mechanistic understanding, a new π-propargyl-Pd dipole was designed to further extend the success of the higher order dipolar cycloaddition strategy to the synthesis of 10-membered endocyclic alkynes from propargyl carbonates and azadienes (13 examples, up to 98% yield and 94.5:5.5 er).

Abstract
Pd-catalyzed sequential intramolecular annulation/intermolecular [3+2] cycloaddition of 5-allenyloxazolidine-2,4-diones with dipoles was achieved. Under palladium catalysis, various 5-allenyloxazolidine-2,4-diones reacted with 1,3-dipoles such as nitrile N-oxides, azomethine imines or nitrilimines to give a series of functionalized spiroheterocycles in high yields. The scale-up reaction and further derivation of products were successful. A plausible mechanism was also proposed based on the control experiments.

Abstract
In this paper, we reported the palladium-catalyzed formal [5 + 4] cycloaddition reactions between 4-vinyl-4-butyrolactones (VBLs) and azadienes. Under mild reaction conditions, a wide range of benzofuran-fused 9-membered heterocyclic compounds had been provided in moderate to excellent yields with exclusive regioselectivities and excellent diastereoselectivities. The practical applicability of the synthesis was demonstrated through scale-up reaction and further transformation.

Abstract
Divergent transformations of allenylethylene carbonates with diboron reagents catalyzed by copper are disclosed. By using CuCl/IPr·HCl as the catalyst, the allenylethylene carbonates react with B2hex2 to afford 2,4-dien-1-ols as the product in the presence of Cs2CO3 as the base, iPrOH as the additive, and 1,4-dioxane as the solvent. And they react with B2pin2 to form boronic half acids in the presence of NaOtBu as the base, water as the additive, and THF as the solvent. The reactions afford corresponding products in good stereoselectivities and yields, and further derivatizations of boronic half acids and study of the mechanism are also demonstrated.
