Abstract
We herein report the first visible-light-induced hydromono- and difluoroalkylations of alkenes with inexpensive and easily accessible α-fluoro carboxylic acids. This metal-free protocol exhibits mild conditions, high efficiency, and excellent functional-group tolerance, providing a straightforward approach to mono- and difluoroalkylated alkanes. Moreover, the fluorine effect on the hydrofluoroalkylation reaction is discussed in detail.

Abstract
Fluoro-functionalization is now recognized as a critical strategy in drug discovery; however, the accessible fluoro-functional groups are limited. We herein introduce an eccentric, fully fluorinated motif, trans-tetrafluoro-λ6-sulfanyl gem-difluorocyclopropene 2. This novel motif is highly lipophilic and polarized, enabling a connection of two independent groups via three continuous atoms with a large angle of pseudo cis configuration. The target motif was synthesized via a [2+1] cycloaddition of electron-deficient (hetero)aryl-SF4-alkynes 1 with an electrophilic difluorocarbene source.

Abstract
Alkyl enol ethers (AEE) are versatile synthetic intermediates with a unique reactivity pattern. This review article summarizes the synthesis of AEE as well as its reactivity and how enol ether undergoes intermolecular reactions for various bond formation, leading to the construction of several useful organic molecules. The synthetic applications of alkyl enol ethers towards intermolecular bond-forming reactions include metal-catalyzed reactions, cycloaddition and heterocycle formation as well as rwactions in the field of natural products synthesis. The achievement of these impressive transformations prove the countless synthetic potential of AEE. The main objective of this review is to bring attentiveness among synthetic chemists to show how AEE extensively can be used to react with both electrophiles as well as nucleophiles, thereby behaving as an ambiphilic reactant. We trust that the unique reactivity pattern of alkyl enol ethers and the fundamental mechanistic idea can attract chemists in AEE chemistry. Exclusively, intermolecular reactions of AEE with other functionalized moieties have not been reviewed to the best of our knowledge.

Abstract
Pentafluorosulfanyl chloride (SF5 Cl) is the most prevalent reagent for the incorporation of SF5 group into organic compounds. However, the preparation of SF5 Cl often relies on hazardous reagents and specialized apparatus. Herein, we described a safe and practical synthesis of a bench-stable and easy-to-handle solution of SF5 Cl in n-hexane under gas-reagent-free conditions. The synthetic application of SF5 Cl was demonstrated through the unprecedented reaction with diazo compounds. The chemoselective hydro- and chloropentafluorosulfanylations of α-diazo carbonyl compounds were developed in the presence of K3 PO4 or copper catalyst, respectively. These reactions provide a direct and efficient access to various α-pentafluorosulfanyl carbonyl compounds of high value for potential applications.

Abstract
The hydroperfluoroalkylation of electron-deficient olefins with perfluoroalkyl iodides promoted by a zinc/viologen system is described. Interestingly, no iodoperfluoroalkylation product was observed without the presence of a radical H-donor.
