Abstract
A powerful palladium-catalyzed dearomative cyclization was developed that provides facile access to eight types of bridged tetracyclic skeletons bearing various ring sizes and heterocycles. With this method, several skeletons or analogues of natural products, including tubingensin B and dracaenones, were synthesized. Asymmetric dearomative cyclization enables the construction of various enantiomerically enriched bridged polycyclic systems with up to 99 % ee by employing a chiral palladium catalyst.

Abstract
The photolysis of substituted o-divinylbenzenes promotes a one-step and metal-free conversion to oxatricycles at room temperature. Irradiation o-divinylbenzenes results in an pericyclic reaction to form cyclic o-quinodiemthane intermediates, which subsequently undergo intramolecular oxa-[4+2] cycloaddition to form oxacyclic derivatives.

Abstract
An effective method for alkoxycarbonylation of (hetero)aryl bromides is developed in the presence of in situ-generated phosphinite ligands tBu2POR (R = nBu, nPr, Et or Me). For this purpose commercially available tBu2PCl was used as the pre-ligand in the presence of different alcohols. For the first time cross coupling reactions with two alcohols - one generating the ligand, the other used as substrate - were developed. Through this method, ligand optimization can be performed in a more efficient manner and the desired products could be obtained with good yields and selectivity.
