Abstract
At present, the application of rare-earth organic frameworks (Ln-MOFs) in fluorescence sensing has entered rapid development and shown great potential in various analytical fields, such as environmental analysis, food analysis, drug analysis, and biological and clinical analysis by utilizing their internal porosity, tunable structural size, and energy transfer between rare-earth ions, ligands, and photosensitizer molecules. In addition, because the luminescence properties of rare-earth ions are highly dependent on the structural details of the coordination environment surrounding the rare-earth ions, and although their excitation lifetimes are long, they are usually not burst by oxygen and can provide an effective platform for chemical sensing. In order to further promote the development of fluorescence sensing technology based on Ln-MOFs, we summarize and review in detail the latest progress of the construction of Ln-MOF materials for fluorescence sensing applications and related sensor components, including design strategies, preparation methods, and modification considerations and initially propose the future development prospects and prospects.

Abstract
With the rapid development of information technology, the encrypted storage of information is becoming increasingly important for human life. The luminescent materials with a color-changed response under physical or chemical stimuli are crucial for information coding and anticounterfeiting. However, traditional fluorescent materials usually face problems such as a lack of tunable fluorescence, insufficient surface-adaptive adhesion, and strict synthesis conditions, hindering their practical applications. Herein, a series of luminescent lanthanide hybrid organogels (Ln-MOGs) were rapidly synthesized using a simple method at room temperature through the coordination between lanthanide ions and 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid and 5-aminoisophthalic acid. And the multicolor fluorescent inks were also prepared based on the Ln-MOG and hyaluronic acid, with the advantages of being easy to write, color-adjustable, and water-responsive discoloration, which has been applied to paper-based anticounterfeiting technology. Inspired by the responsiveness of the fluorescent inks to water, we designed a logic system that can realize single-input logic operations (NOT and PASS1) and double-input logic operations (NAND, AND, OR, NOR, XOR). The encryption of a binary code can be actualized utilizing different luminescent response modes based on the logic circuit system. By adjusting the energy sensitization and luminescence mechanism of lanthanide ions in the gel structure, the information reading and writing ability of the fluorescent inks were verified, which has great potential in the field of multicolor pattern anticounterfeiting and information encryption.

Abstract
Biological ion channels feature angstrom-scale asymmetrical cavity structures, which are the key to achieving highly efficient separation and sensing of alkali metal ions from aqueous resources. The clean energy future and lithium-based energy storage systems heavily rely on highly efficient ionic separations. However, artificial recreation of such a sophisticated biostructure has been technically challenging. Here, a highly tunable design concept is introduced to fabricate monovalent ion-selective membranes with asymmetric sub-nanometer pores in which energy barriers are implanted. The energy barriers act against ionic movements, which hold the target ion while facilitating the transport of competing ions. The membrane consists of bilayer metal-organic frameworks (MOF-on-MOF), possessing a 6 to 3.4-angstrom passable cavity structure. The ionic current measurements exhibit an unprecedented ionic current rectification ratio of above 100 with exceptionally high selectivity ratios of 84 and 80 for K+ /Li+ and Na+ / Li+ , respectively (1.14 Li+ mol m-2 h-1 ). Furthermore, using quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics, it is shown that the combined effect of spatial hindrance and nucleophilic entrapment to induce energy surge baffles is responsible for the membrane's ultrahigh selectivity and ion rectification. This work demonstrates a striking advance in developing monovalent ion-selective channels and has implications in sensing, energy storage, and separation technologies.

Abstract
Luminescent metal-organic frameworks (LMOFs) as chemosensors, can sense various analytes, such as heavy metal ions, antibiotics, pesticides, and small biological molecules. Based on the fluorescence characteristics of LMOFs, a variety of logic gates have been developed. In this review, we mainly discuss some common logic systems based on LMOFs, and then summarize the strategies of constructing logic gates from two perspectives. One is based on superior characteristics of MOFs, which can be synthesized from Ln3+ based MOFs (Ln-MOFs) or form hybrids by encapsulating different materials, including metal ions, dyes, and quantum dots (QDs). The other is to control the presence of inputs by reactions between different reactants and then further control switches of logic gates. Additionally, the common sensing mechanisms of LMOFs in logic gates are discussed. In the end, we have envisioned MOFs that possess a promising future in logic computing areas.

Abstract
Biomolecules play critical roles in biological activities and are closely related to various disease conditions. The reliable, selective and sensitive detection of biomolecules holds much promise for specific and rapid biosensing. In recent years, luminescent lanthanide probes have been widely used for monitoring the activity of biomolecules owing to their long luminescence lifetimes and line-like emission which allow time-resolved and ratiometric analyses. In this review article, we concentrate on recent advances in the detection of biomolecule activities based on lanthanide luminescent systems, including upconversion luminescent nanoparticles, lanthanide-metal organic frameworks, and lanthanide organic complexes. We also introduce the latest remarkable accomplishments of lanthanide probes in the design principles and sensing mechanisms, as well as the forthcoming challenges and perspectives for practical achievements.
