Abstract
Polymerization of multifunctional thiol-ene molecules is attractive as a proof of concept in photopolymerization, yet the formation of a bead structure is highly restricted. This manuscript will show graphitic carbon nitride based liquid-liquid printing and subsequent photopolymerization to form thiol-ene polymer beads with extreme simplicity and potential scalability.

Abstract
The liquid-liquid interface offers a fascinating avenue for generating hierarchical compartments. Herein, the dynamic imine chemistry is employed at the oil-water interface to investigate the effect of dynamic covalent bonds for modulating the droplet shape. The imine bond formation between oil-soluble aromatic aldehydes and water-soluble polyethyleneimine greatly stabilized the oil-water interface by substantially lowering the interfacial tension. The successful jamming of imine-mediated assemblies was observed when a compressive force was applied to the droplet. Thus, the anisotropic compartmentalization of the liquid-liquid interface was created, and it was later altered by changing the pH of the surrounding environment. Finally, a proof-of-concept demonstration of a pH-triggered cargo release across the interfacial membrane confirmed the feasibility of stimuli-responsive behavior of dynamic imine assemblies.

Abstract
Eutectic gallium-indium (EGaIn) is increasingly employed as an interfacial conductor material in molecular electronics and wearable healthcare devices owing to its ability to be shaped at room temperature, conductivity, and mechanical stability. Despite this emerging usage, the mechanical and physical mechanisms governing EGaIn interactions with surrounding objects─mainly regulated by surface tension and interfacial adhesion─remain poorly understood. Here, using depth-sensing nanoindentation (DSN) on pristine EGaIn/GaOx surfaces, we uncover how changes in EGaIn/substrate interfacial energies regulate the adhesive and contact mechanic behaviors, notably the evolution of EGaIn capillary bridges with distinct capillary geometries and pressures. Varying the interfacial energy by subjecting EGaIn to different chemical environments and by functionalizing the tip with chemically distinct self-assembled monolayers (SAMs), we show that the adhesion forces between EGaIn and the solid substrate can be increased by up to 2 orders of magnitude, resulting in about a 60-fold increase in the elongation of capillary bridges. Our data reveal that by deploying molecular junctions with SAMs of different terminal groups, the trends of charge transport rates, the resistance of monolayers, and the contact interactions between EGaIn and monolayers from electrical characterizations are governed by the interfacial energies as well. This study provides a key understanding into the role of interfacial energy on geometrical characteristics of EGaIn capillary bridges, offering insights toward the fabrication of EGaIn junctions in a controlled fashion.

Abstract
The non-equilibrium liquid structure was achieved by interfacial jamming of pillar[5]arene carboxylic acid (P[5]AA) mediated by hydrogen bonding interactions. The assembly was reversibly modulated via jamming to unjamming transition thus dynamically shaping the liquid droplets. Interestingly, these supramolecular constructs showed pH-switchable gated diffusion of encapsulants, hence showcasing a next generation smart release system.

Abstract
Hydrogels are a special class of crosslinked hydrophilic polymers with a high water content through their porous structures. Post-modifications of hydrogels propose an attractive platform so that a variety of fresh functions, which are not arising from initial monomers, could be accessible on a parental network. Photoinduced post-modification of hydrogels by embedding semiconductor nanosheets would be of high interest and novelty. Here, a metal-free semiconductor graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN)-embedded hydrogel as an initial network was synthesized via redox-couple initiation under dark conditions. Post-photomodification of so-formed hydrogel, thanks to the photoactivity of the embedded g-CN nanosheets, was exemplified in two scenarios. The synthesis of 'hydrophobic hydrogel' is reported and its application in delayed cation delivery was investigated. Furthermore, pores of the initial hydrogel were modified by the formation of a secondary polymer network. Such a facile and straightforward synthetic protocol to manufacture functional soft materials will be of high interest in near future by the means of catalysis and agricultural delivery.
