Abstract
An efficient method for the direct alkylamination of tyrosine derivatives via iron-catalyzed C-H amination has been developed. The method, using O-benzoyl-N,N-dialkylhydroxylamines as aminating agents, provides various C-amino-functionalized tyrosine derivatives in up to 77% yield. The utility of this method is showcased by its application to the direct introduction of drug molecules into tyrosine, facilitating access to structurally diverse amino-functionalized tyrosine derivatives.

Abstract
Herein, we describe a copper-catalyzed intramolecular dearomative amination of indoles via a formal aza-Wacker reaction. This protocol provides an efficient method to access aza-polycyclic indoline molecules bearing exocyclic CC bonds in moderate to excellent yields in the presence of molecular oxygen as an oxidant. It is worth noting that indolin-3-ones are achieved when employing C3-non-substituted indoles as substrates.

Abstract
A Cu-catalyzed straightforward synthesis of benzoxazoles from free phenols and cyclic oxime esters is reported. The mild reaction conditions tolerate various electron-withdrawing and electron-donating functional groups on both substrates, affording benzoxazoles in moderate to good yields. With this protocol, large-scale syntheses of Ezutromid and Flunoxaprofe in one or two steps are demonstrated. A catalytic mechanism, which includes Cu-catalyzed amination via inner-sphere electron transfer and consequent annulation, is proposed.

Abstract
A copper-catalyzed ortho-selective amination of 2-azulenols with O-benzoylhydroxylamines (RR'N-OBz) to synthesize ortho-aminoazulenols is reported. A wide range of functional groups on amines are compatible, furnishing the corresponding amino-azulene derivatives in moderate to good yields. The further synthetic elaboration using 3-amino-2-azulenols as starting materials is demonstrated.

Abstract
Dearomatization reactions allow the direct synthesis of structurally complex sp3 -rich molecules from readily available "flat" precursors. Established dearomatization processes commonly involve the formation of new C-C bonds, whereas methods that enable the introduction of C-N bonds have received less attention. Because of the privileged position of nitrogen in drug discovery, significant recent methodological efforts have been directed towards addressing this deficiency. Consequently, a variety of new processes are now available that allow the direct preparation of sp3 -rich amino-containing building blocks and scaffolds. This review gives an overview of C-N bond forming dearomatization reactions, particularly with respect to scaffold assembly processes. The discussion gives historical context, but the main focus is on selected methods that have been reported recently.

Abstract
A new copper-catalyzed two-component amino-benzoyloxylation of unactivated alkenes of unsaturated ketoximes with O-benzoylhydroxylamines as the benzoyloxy sources is developed. Chemoselectivity of this method toward amino-benzoyloxylation or oxy-benzoyloxylation of alkenyl ketoximes relies on the position of the tethered olefins, and provides an external-oxidant-free alkene difunctionalization route that directly utilizes O-benzoylhydroxylamines as the benzoyloxy radical precursors and internal oxidants for the divergent synthesis of cyclic nitrones and isoxazolines.

Abstract
Classical amination methods involve the reaction of a nitrogen nucleophile with an electrophilic carbon center; however, in recent years, umpoled strategies have gained traction where the nitrogen source acts as an electrophile. A wide range of electrophilic aminating agents are now available, and these underpin a range of powerful C−N bond‐forming processes. In this Review, we highlight the strategic use of electrophilic aminating agents in total synthesis.

Abstract
The main achievements and development trends of the past 10–15 years related to the catalytic cyclopropanation of unsaturated compounds with diazomethane are integrated and analyzed. The attention is focused on the most efficient catalysts based on palladium compounds. Data on the effects of substrate structure and nature of catalyst components on the regio- and stereoselectivity of these reactions are systematized. Characteristic features of safe methods for diazomethane generation are considered, including the use of membrane technologies and continuous-flow and in situ preparation methods, which have prospects for industrial application.

Abstract
A Cu(II)-catalyzed dehydrogenative enamination that couples alkyl-substituted electron-rich arenes and N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide to forge enamine products is reported. This C-N bond-forming procedure occurs selectively at the β-position of the alkyl group. Both aniline and anisole derivatives are tolerated under these conditions, to afford styryl amines. A reaction mechanism involving quinone methide and styrene intermediates is proposed.

Abstract
An efficient silver-catalyzed para-selective amination and aminative dearomatization of phenols with azodicarboxylates was developed. It afforded the para-aminophenols or amino cyclohexadieneones from free phenols depending on whether it has a para-substituent. The reaction proceeded smoothly in water under simple and mild conditions, giving the highly selective products in good yields within a short reaction time. It also showed broad substrate scope and good functional group compatibility.
