Abstract
Catalytic difunctionalization with the direct activation of (O)P-H bonds has been recently established as a potentially robust platform to generate valuable organophosphorus compounds. In terms of 1,3-enynes, despite of the various catalytic methods developed for hydrophosphorylation, the radical-mediated hetero-functionalization of two different atoms has been less explored. In this study, we disclosed an electrochemically induced hydroxyphosphorylation of 1,3-enynes for the construction of phosphinyl-substituted propargyl alcohols. The system involves the direct activation of both arylphosphine oxides and oxygen in ambient air with no external metal or additive needed. The use of electrochemistry ensures the regioselective, atom-economic and eco-friendly for the difunctionalization process. This strategy highlights the advantages of mild reaction conditions, readily available starting materials and broad substrate scope, showing its practical synthetic value in organic synthesis.

Abstract
Herein, we described an unprecedented process for generating allenyl radicals through radical addition to alkynyl diazo compounds followed by a 1,2-radical shift with the loss of nitrogen. Using this protocol, radical 1,3-difunctionalization of alkynyl diazo compounds for the synthesis of tetrasubstituted allenes with RSO2X (X = SeR', SR', and I) as the radical sources was developed. The reactions were promoted by visible light without photocatalyst and any additives.

Abstract
A novel and efficient radical-modulated difunctionalization of vinyl enynes has been disclosed using TEMPO as a radical regulator. Facile access to structurally diverse 3-bromo-naphthalen-1(2H)-ones and 4-bromo-allenic alcohols was realized via 1,2-addition/1,2-migration or 1,4-addition, respectively. This protocol represents the first example of radical-modulated metal-free difunctionalization of 1,3-enynes with high regioselectivity.

Abstract
A novel family of five Mn-Te-CO complexes was prepared via facile syntheses: mono spirocyclic [Mn4Te(CO)16]2- (1), four-membered Mn2Te2 ring-type [Mn2Te2(CO)8]2- (2), hydride-containing square pyramidal [HMn3Te2(CO)9]2- (3), and dumbbell-shaped [Mn6Te6(CO)18]4- (4) and [Mn6Te10(CO)18]4- (5). Electron-precise complexes 4 and 5 exhibit unusual paramagnetism arising from two types of Mn atoms in different oxidation states, as determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The structural transformations from small-sized Mn4Te 1 and Mn2Te2 2 to the largest Mn6Te10 5 were controllable, the off/on magnetic-switched transformation between HMn3Te2 3 and 5 was reversible, and the magnetic transformation between Mn6Te6 4 and 5 was observed. Interestingly, the reversible dehydridation and hydridation between the HMn3Te2-based cluster 3 and [Mn3Te2(CO)9]- were successfully accomplished, in which the release of a high yield of H2 was detected by gas chromatography. In addition, upon the addition of CO, cluster 3 first forms a carbonyl-inserted intermediate [HMn3Te2(CO)10]2- (3'), detected by the high resolution ESI-MS, which is readily transformed to a dimeric dihydrido cluster [{HMn3Te2(CO)10}2]2- (6) with the introduction of O2. These low- to high-nuclearity complexes exhibit rich redox properties with semiconducting behavior in solids, possessing low but tunable energy gaps (1.06-1.62 eV) due to efficient electron transport via nonclassical C-H···O(carbonyl) interactions. The structural nature, reversible structural transformations, controllable on/off magnetic switches, electron communication networks, and associated chemical properties for hydrogen generation are discussed in detail and supported by DFT calculations, density of states, band structures, and noncovalent interaction analyses.

Abstract
Explosive growth in the use of open shell reactivity, including neutral radicals and radical ions, in the field of synthetic organic chemistry has been observed in the past decade, particularly since the advent of ruthenium complexes in 2008. These complexes generally induce single-electron transfer (SET) processes via visible-light absorption. Additionally, recent significant advancements in organic electrochemistry involving SET processes to provide open shell reactivity offer a complementary method to traditional polarity-driven reactions described by two-electron transfer processes. In this Review, we highlight the importance of intramolecular SET processes in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, which seem to be more elusive than the intermolecular versions, since they are net redox-neutral and thus cannot simply be regarded as oxidations or reductions. Such intramolecular SET processes can rationally be understood in combination with concomitant bond formations and/or cleavages, and are regulated by a structural motif that we call a "redox tag." In order to describe modern radical-driven reactions involving SET processes, we focus on a classical formalism in which electrons are treated as particles rather than waves, which offers a practical yet powerful approach to explain and/or predict synthetic outcomes.

Abstract
The reaction of dibenzo[a,d]cycloheptan-5-one (dibenzosuberone) and dibenzo[a,d]cyclohept-10-en-5-one (dibenzosuberenone) with aryl- or trimethylsilylacetylides led to the formation of the corresponding alkynyldibenzosuberols and alkynyldibenzosuberenols. Treatment with dicobalt octacarbonyl and then with bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm) furnished the corresponding [Co2 (CO)4 (dppm)(alkynol)] clusters 25 and 29. Upon protonation with HBF4 at 203 K to generate the relevant cobalt-stabilised cations, the dibenzosuberyl system 30 exhibited fluxionality such that the cation migrated between cobalt centres. Variable-temperature 31 P NMR spectroscopy revealed a barrier of approximately 12.5 kcal mol-1 . In contrast, in the supposedly aromatic [Co2 (CO)4 (dppm)(dibenzosuberenyl)]+ cation (31), which would be expected to have less need of cobalt stabilisation, the barrier was too high to be measured experimentally, but is certainly in excess of 16 kcal mol-1 . These data were rationalised by DFT calculations on the structures and energies of the relevant ground states and transition states, which suggested that the nonplanar alkynyldibenzosuberenyl moiety in 31 is better regarded as a neutral dibenzoheptafulvene coordinated to a cationic alkynyl-dicobalt cluster. The question of the bonding of both aromatic and antiaromatic cations to alkyne-dicobalt clusters is considered, and it is proposed that their stabilities, when complexed, parallel the inversion of (4n+2) π and 4n π systems seen under photochemical conditions.

Abstract
An inorganic ligand [TeFe3(CO)9]2− was introduced into dicopper(i) NHC complexes which exhibited pronounced catalytic efficiencies toward homocoupling of arylboronic acids.
