Abstract
A mild late-stage modification of pyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinolines was established through iron-catalyzed oxidative dearomatization and peroxidation. Peroxylated pyrroloisoquinolines have been prepared readily with hydroperoxide in low to good yields (up to 72%) at room temperature. Interestingly, the treatment of fully aromatized pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinolines under the current reaction system resulted in the formation of ring-opening products.

Abstract
Herein, a transition metal-free approach for access to 3,3'-disubstituted peroxyoxindole is disclosed, which harnesses a transient azaoxyallyl cation. This strategy is also applicable to the synthesis of structurally diverse α-peroxycarboxylic acid surrogates. The method exhibits good functional group tolerance and is suitable for generating a library of peroxy-containing compounds.

Abstract
α-Substituted peroxides have been found in natural products and are widely used as anti-malarial agents. Zn(OTf)2 -catalyzed peroxidation of 1,3,5-triazines has been developed, accessing diversely substituted α-amino tertiary alkylperoxides with high efficiency. Mechanistic investigations and useful synthetic application of the products have also been presented.

Abstract
A novel method of iodine-catalyzed aerobic oxidation with spirovinylcyclopropyl oxindoles under mild conditions has been described. A series of spiro-1,2-dioxolanes were prepared in good to excellent yields and considerable diastereoselectivities. The new approach is operationally simple, scalable, and tolerant of various functional groups.

Abstract
The Lewis acid catalyzed ring opening reaction of Donor-Acceptor (D-A) cyclopropanes with alkyl hydroperoxides is reported to furnish various peroxycarbonyls and 1,3-haloperoxygenated compounds in good to excellent yields. This method adds another instance to scarcely reported noncyclilizing 1,3-bisfunctionalization of D-A cyclopropanes with two different functional groups and relies on the dual role of peroxide as nucleophile and oxidant through an orchestrated reaction sequence. The products obtained, including α-heterosubstituted peroxy compounds, are amenable to useful synthetic elaboration.

Abstract
We have developed an unprecedented highly enantioselective catalytic peroxidation of enals. Critical to this development is the discovery that varying the structure of the hydroperoxide has a significant impact on the enantioselectivity of the organocatalytic asymmetric peroxidation. This novel transformation enabled the development of an enantioselective route toward the core structure shared by all members of the stolonoxide family of anticancer natural products, a connected trans-3,6-disubstituted-1,2-dioxane and trans-2,5-disubstituted-tetrahydrofuran ring system. Our route also features an unprecedented cyclization cascade of a chiral bis(epoxy)hydroperoxide. The new methodology and synthetic strategy established in this work should be applicable to the enantioselective synthesis of a broad range of chiral 1,2-dioxolanes and 1,2-dioxanes, thereby facilitating biological and medicinal chemistry studies of peroxy natural products.

Abstract
A highly enantioselective Lewis base-catalysed formal [3+2] cycloaddition of ammonium enolates and oxaziridines to give stereodefined oxazolidin-4-ones in high yield is described. Employing an enantioenriched oxaziridine in this process leads to a matched/mis-matched effect with the isothiourea catalyst and allowed the synthesis of either syn- or anti-stereodefined oxazolidin-4-ones in high d.r., yield and ee. Additionally, the oxazolidin-4-one products have been derivatised to afford functionalised enantioenriched building blocks.
