Abstract
The BaII atom in the polymeric title compound, [Ba(C2H6OS)(C6H2N3O7)2], lies on a mirror plane and is coordinated by ten oxygen atoms, two of which stem from symmetry-related DMSO ligands and eight from four symmetry-related picrate anions. The asymmetric unit of the title barium coordination polymer, [Ba(C6H2N3O7)2(C2H6OS)]n, consists of a barium cation (site symmetry m) and a dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) ligand (point group symmetry m) and a 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate anion located in general positions. The S atom and the methyl group of DMSO are disordered over two sets of sites. The DMSO ligand bridges a pair of BaII atoms resulting in a chain extending parallel to the a axis. The unique 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate anion also bridges a pair of BaII ions via the phenolic oxygen atom, with each BaII being additionally bonded to an oxygen atom of an adjacent nitro group. The μ2-monoatomic bridging binding mode of both types of ligands results in the formation of an infinite chain of face-sharing {BaO10} polyhedra flanked by the remaining parts of the 2,4,6-trinitrophenolato and DMSO ligands. In the one-dimensional coordination polymer, parallel chains are interlinked with the aid of C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.![]()

Abstract
Abstract
Three chromium(III) 1,2,4-diazaphospholide complexes were prepared: 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2,4-diazaphospholide chromium(III) dichloride [(η
2-3,5-tBu2dp)Cr(THF)2Cl2] (1), 3,5-di-phenyl-1,2,4-diazaphospholide chromium(III) dichloride [(η
2-3,5-Ph2dp)Cr(THF)2Cl2] (2), and 2,6-bis(N-1,2,4-diazaphosphol-1-yl)pyridine chromium(III) trichloride {[2,6-bis(N-1,2,4-diazaphosphol-1-yl)pyridine]CrCl3} (3). X-ray diffraction analysis has shown that these six-coordinate complexes each have a pseudo-octahedral configuration. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy data for complex 1 for the paramagnetic S = 3/2 system (d
3 electron configuration) confirm a Cr(III) center in the octahedral coordination environment. The magnetic susceptibility of complex 1 followed the Curie–Weiss law well between 25 and 300 K. The magnetic moment of 1 was found to be close to the spin-only magnetic moment expected for three unpaired electrons (3.87 μB).

Abstract
The title compound, [BaCl2(C2H6SO)], forms a Ba6Cl9 cluster in which the BaCl2 units are connected via dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and chloride bridges. The central Cl atom of the Ba6Cl9 cluster is located on a threefold inversion axis and is coordinated octahedrally to six barium cations. In the crystal, the clusters are arranged in rows, which are interconnected by the DMSO molecules, forming a three-dimensional network.

Abstract
Two 1,2,4-diazaphospholide complexes of [Ti(η(2)-3,5-Ph(2)dp)(4)] and paramagnetic [Ti(η(2)-3,5-tBu(2)dp)(3)] were prepared by the reaction of tetrakis(dimethylamido)titanium(IV) with 3,5-diphenyl-1,2,4-diazaphophole, H[3,5-Ph(2)dp], or by the treatment of 3,5-tert-butyl-1,2,4-diazaphopholide potassium, K[3,5-tBu(2)dp], with titanium trichloride. Complexes can be viewed as the core of P(σ(2)λ(3))-functionalized metallodendrimers, in which the metal atoms are exclusively η(2)(N,N) bonding to the 1,2,4-diazaphospholides while P atoms (σ(2)λ(3)) with electron lone pairs are located on the periphery of the molecules.
