Abstract
Platinum(II) metalla-N-heterocyclic carbene complexes featuring pyridyl heterocyclic moiety demonstrate remarkable catalytic efficiency in alkyne hydrosilylation under green light irradiation. The photocatalytic properties of complexes are rationalised by the photo-induced charge transfer occurring in extended condensed system identified with the help of various experimental (UV/vis and emission spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry) and theoretical methods (DFT/TD-DFT, IFCT analysis).

Abstract
In this work, a Pd(II)-C,N-cyclometalated complex was grafted to polysiloxanes via azide-alkyne cycloaddition. The obtained polymer-metal complex (Pd-PDMS) acts as a catalyst in the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. Pd-PDMS was drop-casted onto a carbon fiber support, and the resulting membrane demonstrated catalytic activity in the cross-coupling reaction without yield loss after several catalytic cycles. The catalytic membrane allows for easy catalyst recycling and provides ultra-low palladium levels in Suzuki-Miyaura reaction products.

Abstract
The nucleophilic addition of 3-(4-cyanopyridin-2-yl)-1,1-dimethylurea (1) to cis-[Pt(CNXyl)2Cl2] (2) gave a new cyclometallated compound 3. It was characterized by NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 195Pt) and high-resolution mass spectrometry, as well as crystallized to obtain two crystalline forms (3 and 3·2MeCN), whose structures were determined by X-ray diffraction. In the crystalline structure of 3, two conformers (3A and 3B) were identified, while the structure 3·2MeCN had only one conformer 3A. The conformers differed by orientation of the N,N-dimethylcarbamoyl moiety relative to the metallacycle plane. In both crystals 3 and 3·2MeCN, the molecules of the Pt(II) complex are associated into supramolecular dimers, either {3A}2 or {3B}2, via stacking interactions between the planes of two metal centers, which are additionally supported by hydrogen bonding. The theoretical consideration, utilizing a number of computational approaches, demonstrates that the C···dz2(Pt) interaction makes a significant contribution in the total stacking forces in the geometrically optimized dimer [3A]2 and reveals the dz2(Pt)→π*(PyCN) charge transfer (CT). The presence of such CT process allowed for marking the C···Pt contact as a new example of a rare studied phenomenon, namely, tetrel bonding, in which the metal site acts as a Lewis base (an acceptor of noncovalent interaction).

Abstract
Metal mediated coupling of isocyanides with substituted N-(pyridine-2-yl) ureas was first used to incorporate privileged biological motifs into platinum metal complexes. We synthesized two palladium(II) and two platinum(II) cyclometallated species with oxadiazole cores. The compounds were isolated in good yields (61–73%) and characterized by high-resolution mass spectrometry and 1H, 13C, and 195Pt NMR spectroscopies. The structures of three complexes were additionally elucidated by X-ray diffraction analysis. These complexes indeed showed cytotoxic activity. The species bearing the 1,3,4-oxadiazole moiety exhibit more potency than the ones with the 1,2,4-oxadiazole ring. Particularly, the cytotoxic effect of both 1,3,4-oxadiazole-based complexes towards T98G cells significantly exceeds the common antitumor metal-drug cisplatin.

Abstract
The treatment of cis-[PtCl2(XylNC)2] with thiazol-2-amines in a 2:1 ratio leads to a regioisomeric mixture of two binuclear complexes. These regioisomers are products of kinetic and thermodynamic control capable of regioisomerization. When the same reaction is carried out with a 5-fold excess of thiazol-2-amine, the nucleophile is able to react with the in situ-formed binuclear platinum(II) complexes, yielding a new type of bis-carbene platinum species. All new isolated compounds were characterized by 1H, 13C{1H}, and 195Pt{1H} NMR spectroscopy, high-resolution ESI-MS, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.

Abstract
A practical method for the synthesis of 2-selenoxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-4-quinazolinone was reported. The latter compounds were found to undergo facile oxidation with H2O2 into corresponding diselenides. Novel organoselenium derivatives were characterized by the 1H, 77Se, and 13C NMR spectroscopies, high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, IR, elemental analyses (C, H, N), and X-ray diffraction analysis for several of them. Novel heterocycles exhibited multiple remarkable chalcogen bonding (ChB) interactions in the solid state, which were studied theoretically.

Abstract
We report that Z/E-diaminotetraphenylethylene (Z/E-2NH2-TPE) molecules suffer primarily from oxidative evolution rather than recognized isomerization. The oxide is separated and its structure is deciphered by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The oxidative evolution accompanying the rearrangement is explained through quantum theoretical calculation.

Abstract
The synthesis of 2-pyridyltellurenyl bromide via Br2 oxidative cleavage of the Te–Te bond of dipyridylditelluride is reported. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis of 2-pyridyltellurenyl bromide demonstrated that the Te atom of 2-pyridyltellurenyl bromide was involved in four different noncovalent contacts: Te⋯Te interactions, two Te⋯Br ChB, and one Te⋯N ChB contact forming 3D supramolecular symmetrical framework. In contrast to 2-pyridylselenenyl halides, the Te congener does not react with nitriles furnishing cyclization products. 2-Pyridylselenenyl chloride was demonstrated to easily form the corresponding adduct with benzonitrile. The cyclization product was studied by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, which revealed that in contrast to earlier studied cationic 1,2,4-selenadiazoles, here we observed that the adduct with benzonitrile formed supramolecular dimers via Se⋯Se interactions in the solid state, which were never observed before for 1,2,4-selenadiazoles.

Abstract
2-Pyridylselenyl halides undergo facile coupling with a triple CN bond of unactivated nitriles. Unprecedented heterocyclization allowed the preparation of a novel class of cationic 1,2,4-selenadiazoles in remarkably high yields. Cationic 1,2,4-selenadiazoles form supramolecular dimers in the crystal via SeN chalcogen bonding, which was studied theoretically.

Abstract
Reactions between Zn(II) dihalides and 2-halogen-substituted pyridines 2-XPy result in a series of heteroleptic molecular complexes [(2-XPy)2ZnY2] (Y = Cl, X = Cl (1), Br (2), I (3); Y = Br, X = Cl (4), Br (5), I (6), Y = I, X = Cl (7), Br (8), and I (9)). Moreover, 1-7 are isostructural (triclinic), while 8 and 9 are monoclinic. In all cases, halogen bonding plays an important role in formation of crystal packing. Moreover, 1-9 demonstrate luminescence in asolid state; for the best emitting complexes, quantum yield (QY) exceeds 21%.

Abstract
The protonation of the carboxamide nitrogen atom is an essential part of in vivo and in vitro processes (cis-trans isomerization, amides hydrolysis etc). This phenomenon is well studied in geometrically strongly distorted amides, although there is little data concerning the protonation of undistorted amides. In the latter case, the participation of amide nitrogen in hydrogen bonding (which can be regarded as the incipient state of a proton transfer process) is less well-studied. Thus, it would be a worthy goal to investigate the enthalpy of this interaction. We prepared and investigated a set of peri-substituted naphthalenes containing the protonated dimethylamino group next to the amide nitrogen atom ("amide proton sponges"), which could serve as models for the study of an intramolecular hydrogen bond with the amide nitrogen atom. X-Ray analysis, NMR spectra, basicity values as well as quantum chemical calculations revealed the existence of a hydrogen bond with the amide nitrogen, that should be attributed to the borderline between moderate and weak intramolecular hydrogen bonds (2-7 kcal ⋅ mol-1 ).

Abstract
Abstract
The title compound 1-(2-chlorophenyl)-3,3-bis(methylthio)prop-2-en-1-one (1) have been synthesized, crystallized and characterized using FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, LCMS and confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction method. In addition, the intermolecular interactions in the crystal structure are analyzed using Hirshfeld surfaces computational method. The (1) crystallizes in a monoclinic crystal system (space group P 21/
c) with cell parameters a = 17.0132(9) Å, b = 8.6521(4) Å, c = 8.2815(7) Å, β = 95.512(6) ° and Z = 4. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds/interactions of the type C · · · H · · · O, C–H · · · S, C–H · · · Cg and C–Cl · · · Cg stabilize the crystal structure. The intermolecular interactions responsible for crystal packing are analyzed using Hirshfeld surfaces computational method, 2D finger print plots, electrostatic potential surfaces, toplogy surfaces [curvedness (C) and shape index (S), enrichment ratio (E) and 3D energy frameworks]. In addition the dielectric studies were performed for the title molecule. The crystal structure database (CSD) analysis was carried out for structural conformation and crystal packing confirmation. Overall structural studies confirmed that the intermolecular interactions of the type S · · · S chalocogen bonds are involved in crystal packing in addition to the C11–H11 · · · O1, C10–H10B · · · O1, two C10–H10 · · · S1, C4–H11 · · · Cg1 and C1–Cl1 · · · Cg1 interactions.
