Abstract
The first practical, fully stereoselective P(V)-radical hydrophosphorylation is presented herein by using simple, limonene-derived reagent systems. A set of reagents have been developed that upon radical initiation react smoothly with olefins and other radical acceptors to generate P-chiral products, which can be further diversified (with conventional 2e- chemistry) to a range of underexplored bioisosteric building blocks. The reactions have a wide scope with excellent chemoselectivity, and the unexpected stereochemical outcome has been supported computationally and experimentally. Initial ADME studies are suggestive of the promising properties of this rarely explored chemical space.

Abstract
In recent years, many manganese-based homogeneous catalytic precursors have been developed as powerful alternatives in organic synthesis. Among these, the hydrofunctionalizations of unsaturated C-C bonds correspond to outstanding ways to afford compounds with more versatile functional groups, which are commonly used as building blocks in the production of fine chemicals and feedstock for the industrial field. Herein, we present an account of the Mn-catalyzed homogeneous hydrofunctionalizations of alkenes and alkynes with the main objective of finding catalytic and mechanistic tendencies that could serve as a platform for the works to come.

Abstract
The addition of secondary phosphine oxides to tetramesityldisilene and -digermene results in the mild, partial reduction of the P(V) centre of the organophosphorus oxide to P(III) to yield disilyl and digermyl phosphinite derivatives and illustrates the potential of ditetrelenes to serve as mild reducing agents under ambient conditions. An analogous reaction happens with <i>H</i>-phosphonates. Mechanistic experiments, including deuterium-labelling, kinetic isotope effect (KIE) and variable time normalization analysis (VTNA) experiments, reveal that the 1,3-PH addition likely proceeds through a stepwise reaction pathway with the organophosphorus oxide acting as the nucleophile towards the ditetrelene. Furthermore, a facile exchange between the R2PO- moiety on the digermylphosphinite with the R2PO moiety of phosphine oxides was discovered and likely proceeds through a direct substitution mechanism.

Abstract
A UV-mediated hydrophosphinylation of unactivated alkenes with H-phosphinates and hypophosphorous acid under radical free conditions is presented. The reaction affords selectively a large number of structurally diverse organophosphorous compounds in moderate to good yields under mild reaction conditions in the presence of an organic sensitizer as catalyst irradiated by UV-A LEDs. Furthermore, the high yielding hydrophosphinylation in continuous flow is disclosed.

Abstract
AbstractThe development of practical, efficient and atom-economical methods of formation of carbon-phosphorus bonds remains a topic of considerable interest for the current synthetic organic chemistry and electrochemistry. This review summarizes selected topics from the recent publications with particular emphasis on phosphine and phosphine oxides formation from white phosphorus, chlorophosphines in electrocatalytic processes using aryl, hetaryl or perfluoroalkyl halides as reagents. This review includes selected highlights concerning recent progress in modification of catalytic systems for aromatic C–H bonds phosphonation involving metal-catalyzed ligand directed or metal-induced oxidative processes. Furthermore, a part of this review is devoted to phosphorylation of olefins with white phosphorus under reductive conditions in water-organic media. Finally, we have also documented recent advances in ferrocene C–H activation and phosphorylation.
