Abstract
This review aims at providing an overview of the most significant applications of fluorine-containing ligands reported in the literature starting from 2001 until mid-2021. The ligands are classified according to the nature of the donor atoms involved. This review highlights both metal-ligand interactions and the structure-reactivity relationships resulting from the presence of the fluorine atom or fluorine-containing substituents on chiral catalysts.

Abstract
With the aid of an innate amide group, an intramolecular Pd-catalyzed enantioselective hydroamidocarbonylation reaction of α-substituted acrylamides was developed, and a series of chiral 2-substituted succinimides were obtained in moderate to high yields and enantioselectivities. The generality of this approach was demonstrated by the carbonylation of both aryl- and alkyl-substituted acrylamides containing numerous functional groups.

Abstract
The field of gold catalysis has been in constant expansion during the last twenty years. Based on the precept of π-activation of unsaturated simple substrates, several new rearrangements have been discovered, implying aryl, alkyne, alkene or keto derivatives as key partners. In this personal account, the main contributions in the field of gold catalysis from our group will be highlighted, emphasizing the recent reports, starting from 1,6- and 1,5-enynes and then moving to keto-ynes derivatives. The gold-catalyzed reactions will be presented starting from classical skeletal rearrangements (cycloisomerization) and then domino processes. In each part, the presentation of asymmetric versions will be highlighted.

Abstract
The combination of commercially available FeCl3·6H2O with a water-soluble cationic 2,2′-bipyridyl catalytic system was found to enable the direct conjugate addition of aryl iodides onto activated alkenes, such as an α,β-unsaturated ester and a ketone, in a weakly acidic aqueous solution. This operationally simple protocol was carried out at 80 °C under air atmosphere in a potassium acetate-buffered aqueous solution for 12 h in the presence of Zn dust as a reductant to provide the desired 1,4-adducts in good yields.
