Abstract
We report a catalytic protocol for mild OtBu deprotection using two commercial reagents: the tris-4-bromophenylamminium radical cation, commonly known as magic blue (MB•+), and triethylsilane. Magic blue catalytically facilitates the cleavage of the C-O bond in tert-butyl carbamates, carbonates, esters, and ethers in a high isolated yield of up to 95%, and sacrificial triethylsilane accelerates the reaction. Without requiring high temperatures, transition metals, or strong acidic or basic catalysts, this method is suitable for structurally diverse compounds, including aliphatic, aromatic, and heterocyclic substrates.

Abstract
A direct oxidation of the bromo-derived Fischer-Borsche oxo-ring leading to carbazolequinone has been developed by using molecular iodine. This unprecedented transformation has been used for the modular synthesis of the anti-cardiotonic agent murrayaquinone. Furthermore, the present method has been generalized to a broad range of functional groups, with good to excellent yield.

Abstract
We describe here an approach for synthesizing quinolines either from N-alkyl anilines or from anilines and aldehydes. A dual-catalyst system consisting of a photocatalyst and a proton reduction cocatalyst is employed. Without the use of any sacrificial oxidant and under extremely mild conditions, the reactions afford quinolines in excellent yields and produce H2 as a byproduct.

Abstract
A powerful tris(4-bromophenyl)aminium hexachloroantimonate (BAHA) mediated regioselective intermolecular coupling reaction of vindoline with a wide range of substrates that include β-ketoesters, β-diketones, β-ketoaldehydes, β-ketonitriles, β-ketolactones, β-ketolactams, β-cyanoesters, and malononitriles is detailed. The BAHA-promoted intermolecular sp3/sp2 coupling, representing a special class of selective C-H functionalization reactions with direct carbon-carbon bond formation, proceeds with generation of a quaternary center bound to the aryl C15 center of vindoline capable of accommodating of the vinblastine C16' methyl ester and functionalized for subsequent divergent heterocycle introduction. A comprehensive examination of the reaction scope, optimization of subtle reaction parameters, and key insights into the reaction mechanism are described. Contrary to what might be prevailing expectations, studies suggest the plausible mechanism entails initial single-electron oxidation of the substrate enolate, not vindoline, and subsequent regiospecific addition of the resulting electrophilic radical to vindoline. As such and beyond the new arylation reaction with vindoline, the studies define a host of new, previously unrecognized, applications of BAHA and related triarylaminium radical cations that arises from their ability to generate stabilized electrophilic radicals from β-ketoesters and related substrates under nonreducing and metal-free conditions. Those exemplified herein include mediating stabilized enolate free radical arylation, dimerization, allylation, alkene addition, and α-oxidation reactions.

Abstract
Quinoline is considered one of the most ubiquitous heterocycles due to its engaging biological activities and synthetic utility over organic transformations. Over the past few decades, numerous reports have been documented in the synthesis of quinolines. The classical methods including, Skraup, Friedlander, Doebner-von-Miller, Conrad-Limpach, Pfitzinger quinoline synthesis, and so forth, these are the well-known methods to construct principal quinoline scaffold with several advantages and limitations. Recently, radical insertion or catalyzed reactions have emerged as a powerful and efficient tool to construct heterocycles with high atom efficiency and step economy. In this concern, this minireview mainly focused on the developments of Quinoline synthesis via radical reactions. In addition, a brief description of the preparation procedure, reactivity, and mechanisms is also included, where as possible. Respectively, the synthesis of quinolines is classified and summarized based on its reactivity, so it will help the researchers to grab the information in this exploration area, as Quinolines are promising pharmacophores.

Abstract
A practical visible-light-induced aerobic oxidative dehydrogenative coupling reaction of glycine derivatives with olefins has been developed to efficiently synthesize quinoline-2-carboxylates. This metal-free process proceeds smoothly under mild conditions and exhibits good tolerance of functional groups. Given the low cost of the catalyst and feedstock materials, the mild reaction conditions and the absence of hazardous byproducts, this protocol should find broad applications in the synthesis of quinoline-2-carboxylate derivatives.

Abstract
Selective oxidation reactions are challenging when carried out on an industrial scale. Many traditional methods are undesirable from an environmental or safety point of view. There is a need to develop sustainable catalytic approaches that use molecular oxygen as the terminal oxidant. This review will discuss the use of stable radicals (primarily nitroxyl radicals) in aerobic oxidation catalysis. We will discuss the important advances that have occurred in recent years, highlighting the catalytic performance, mechanistic insights and the expanding synthetic utility of these catalytic systems.
