Abstract
Conspectusπ-Conjugated polymers have gained significant interest because of their potential applications in optoelectronics, bioelectronics, and other domains. The controlled synthesis of π-conjugated block polymers optimizes their performance and enables novel properties and functions. However, precise control of the self-assembled architectures of π-conjugated polymers remains a formidable challenge. Inspired by the precise helical architectures of biomacromolecules, the helical polymers and the supramolecular helical assemblies have gained significant attention. Helical polymers with an excess of one-handed helicity can be optically active with a strong tendency toward self-assembly. Incorporating a helical polymer into a π-conjugated polymer can induce asymmetric helical assemblies, leading to novel chiral materials with unique functionalities. To control the self-assembly of architectures, π-conjugated polymers are usually synthesized into block copolymers by incorporating a polymer with self-assembling characteristics. Although various π-conjugated block copolymers have been produced, precise and asymmetric self-assembly is still challenging and has rarely been addressed. Incorporating helical polymers into the π-conjugated polymers can induce a precise and asymmetric self-assembly, which transfers the chirality of the helical polymer block to the π-conjugated polymer, resulting in chiral supramolecular architectures with unique chiroptical properties and functionalities. However, synthesizing hybrid block copolymers containing two distinct polymer blocks is complicated. Some general strategies such as connecting the chain ends of two preformed homopolymers and extending the chain of a prefabricated π-conjugated polymer with a second monomer are time-consuming and require complex synthetic protocols. Therefore, developing novel strategies for the facile synthesis of π-conjugated block copolymers with a predictable molar mass, low dispersity, and tunable composition is of practical importance.Recently, we investigated a controlled synthesis of helical polyisocyanides, helical polyallenes, and helical polycarbenes by developing advanced Pd(II) and Ni(II) catalysts. These helical polymers were successfully incorporated into π-conjugated polymers, including polythiophene, polyfluorene, and poly(phenyleneethynylene), via a one-pot sequential living block polymerization of the two distinct monomers using Pd(II)- or Ni(II)-complexes as catalysts. As a result, a variety of well-defined π-conjugated block copolymers containing helical polymeric blocks were readily synthesized. Although the copolymerized monomers possess different structures and polymerization mechanisms, the one-pot block copolymerization followed a living polymerization mechanism and provided the desired π-conjugated block copolymers in high yields with controlled molar mass, narrow size distribution, and tunable composition.Remarkably, the helical polymeric block induces the π-conjugated block copolymer asymmetric self-assembly into a supramolecular, one-handed helical architecture resulting in distinct optical properties. More interestingly, by utilizing the crystallization of conjugated blocks and one-handed helical blocks, the crystallization-driven and helix-induced precise asymmetric living self-assembly yielded a family of uniform and single-handed helical architectures with controlled dimensions, narrow distribution, and well-defined helicity. The transfer of helical chirality to the supramolecular architectures rendered the achiral π-conjugated blocks with unique chiroptical properties such as the emission of white light over a broad optical spectrum and the circularly polarized luminescence.

Abstract
Three mechanoresponsive polyurethane elastomers whose blue, green, and orange photoluminescence can be reversibly turned on by mechanical force were prepared and combined to create a blend that exhibits deformation-induced white photoluminescence. The three polyurethanes contain rotaxane-based supramolecular mechanoluminophores based on π-extended pyrene, anthracene, or 4-(dicyanomethylene)-2-methyl-6-(4-dimethylaminostyryl)-4H-pyran (DCM) luminophores, respectively, and 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic diimide as an electronically matched quencher. Each polymer shows instantly reversible, strain-dependent switching of its photoluminescence intensity when stretched and relaxed, as deformation leads to a spatial separation of the luminophore and quencher. The present study shows that the photoluminescence color can easily be tailored by variation of the luminophore and also by combining several mechanophores in one material and demonstrates that adaptability is a key advantage of supramolecular approaches to create mechanoresponsive polymers.

Abstract
In π-conjugated polymers (πCPs), crystallinity and fluorescence typically exhibit a trade-off relationship. Here, we have synthesized a highly crystalline and fluorescent π-conjugated polymer with a simple alternating structure of 1,2,4,5-tetrafluorophenylene and 3,3'-dihexyl-2,2'-bithiophene units. In film, the polymer exhibited efficient red-colored fluorescence, an improved quantum yield (Φsol =13 %→Φfilm =23 %) and a crystalline structure. Interestingly, supramolecular gel formation occurred in appropriate solvents, and the macrostructure and fluorescence properties of the gel could be directly controlled by the choice of the solvent. The polymer self-assembled into a spherical form that exhibited red fluorescence in non-aromatic solvent (1,2-dichloroethane) and into a fibrous form that exhibited yellow fluorescence in aromatic solvent (mesitylene).

Abstract
We report the crystallization and microphase separation behavior of an all-conjugated poly(3-hexylthiophene)-b-poly[3-(6-hydroxy)hexylthiophene] (P3HT-b-P3HHT) block copolymer in mixed solvents and demonstrate how the conformations of P3HT and P3HHT chains influence the photophysical properties of the copolymer. It is shown that the balance among π-π stacking of P3HT, P3HHT and microphase separation of the copolymer can be dynamically shifted by controlling the rod-rod interactions of the copolymer via changing the block ratio and solvent blending. A series of nanostructures such as well-ordered nanofibers, spheres and lamellar structures are formed and their formation mechanisms and kinetics are discussed in detail. The variations in P3HT-b-P3HHT conformations are concomitant with a hybrid photophysical property depending on the competition between intrachain and interchain excitonic coupling, resulting in the transformation between J- and H-aggregation. Overall, this work demonstrates how the P3HT-b-P3HHT conformations crystallize and phase-separate in the solution and solid state, and the correlation between their structures and photophysical properties, which improves our understanding of all-conjugated rod-rod block copolymer systems.

Abstract
New molecular design of conjugated polymer that possess high sensitivity to vapour and self-recovering property against pressure is proposed. We synthesised a rod-rod diblock copolymer, poly(3-((3S)-3,7-dimethyl-octyl)-thiophene)-block-poly(4-octyl phenylisocyanide) (PTh- b -PPI), composed of a π-conjugated polymer and a rod-type helical coiled polymer. Introduction of PPI block in the block copolymer architecture enabled PTh- b -PPI film to exhibit solid-to-liquid crystal phase transition by exposure to chloroform vapour, accompanied with colour change (purple-to-yellow), which is the first report on a new phenomenon of "vapour-induced liquid crystallinity". In addition, PTh- b -PPI film showed colour change (purple-to-vermillion) during mechanical shearing, and spontaneously recovered under ambient conditions. We concluded that rod-type helical coiled polymer PPI block performs crucial roles as intrinsically vapour-induced liquid crystallinity and self-reassembling property in the architecture of PTh- b -PPI.

Abstract
A facile construction of diverse polymeric nanostructures was reported by simple quaternization reaction and UV irradiation starting from the same rod-rod conjugated PPI(-DMAENBA)-b-P3HT) diblock copolymers, which were prepared by sequential living copolymerization of PI and 3HT in one-pot.
