Abstract
In the paper, we have successfully prepared hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN:Tb3+, Ce3+) phosphors with melamine as the nitrogen source. The X-ray powder diffraction patterns confirm that the sample possesses a hexagonal crystal structure within the P 6 ¯ m2 space group. It is interesting that the co-doping combination of Tb3+ and Ce3+ can markedly enhance the threshold concentration of doped activators within the limited solid solution of h-BN phosphors. Under 302 nm excitation, the h-BN:Ce3+ phosphors exhibit broadband blue light emission at 406 nm. In h-BN:Tb3+, Ce3+ phosphors, the co-doping of Ce3+ not only ensures high phase purity but also results in strong green light emission. The energy transfer efficiency from Ce3+ to Tb3+ is about 55%. The fluorescence lifetime increases with the increase of Ce3+ and Tb3+ concentration, and the fluorescence lifetime of h-BN:0.025Tb3+, 0.05Ce3+ phosphor reached 2.087 ms. Additionally, the h-BN:0.025Tb3+, 0.05Ce3+ phosphor exhibits excellent thermal performance with an activation energy value of 0.2825 eV. Moreover, the photoluminescence quantum yield of the sample exceeds 52%. Therefore, the h-BN:Tb3+, Ce3+ samples can be used as green phosphors for solid state lighting and fluorescent labeling.

Abstract
Human serum albumin (HSA) is an important biomarker for early disease diagnosis. Therefore, the detection of HSA in biological samples is important. In this study, for the sensitive detection of HSA, a fluorescent probe based on Eu(III)-doped yttrium hydroxide nanosheets was designed and sensitized by α-thiophenformyl acetone trifluoride as an antenna. The morphology and structure of the as-prepared nanosheet fluorescent probe were studied by transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. A detailed investigation of the fluorescence properties of the as-obtained nanosheet probe revealed that the Eu(III) emission intensity was linearly and selectively enhanced by the consecutive addition of HSA. Furthermore, the lifetime signal of this probe was enhanced with increasing concentration. The sensitivity of the nanosheet probe to HSA is discussed based on the results of ultraviolet-visible, fluorescence, and infrared spectral analyses, the findings demonstrate that the nanosheet fluorescent probe we prepared is a highly sensitive and selective tool for detecting HSA concentration with a high intensity and a large lifetime change.

Abstract
Brand-new double anisotropic conductive flexible composite films (ACFs) were firstly put forward, devised and fabricated. The flexible array composite films were constructed via electrospinning using highly aligned Janus nanoribbons as conductive and constitutive units. The Janus nanoribbon consists of two parts, which are respectively conducting side and insulating-luminescent side. The Janus nanoribbons array composite film has two layers, and the two layers are combined tightly to form a top-to-bottom structure. In the composite film, the length direction of the Janus nanoribbons (namely conducting direction) in the two layers is perpendicular, so that a composite film with double electrically conductive anisotropy is achieved. In addition, by adjusting the content of PANI, conductive anisotropy of each layer of the composite film can be tuned, and the conductance in the conducting direction is about 108 times stronger than that in the insulating direction. The Janus nanoribbon array composite films also have tunable and improved luminescent properties, achieving bi-functionality of double anisotropically electrical conduction and luminescence. The proposed design concept and preparation technology will provide theoretical and technical support for the design and fabrication of novel multifunctional ACFs. Brand-new double anisotropic conductive flexible composite films endued with tuned electrically conductive anisotropy and improved luminescence were prepared by electrospinning.![]()

Abstract
Novel type III anisotropic conductive films (ACFs), namely flexible Janus-typed membranes, were proposed, designed and fabricated for the first time. Flexible Janus-typed membranes composed of ordered Janus nanobelts were constructed by electrospinning, which simultaneously possess fluorescence and double electrically conductive anisotropy. For the fabrication of the Janus-typed membrane, Janus nanobelts comprising a conductive side and an insulative-fluorescent side were primarily fabricated, and then the Janus nanobelts are arranged into parallel arrays using an aluminum rotary drum as the collector to obtain a single anisotropically conductive film. Subsequently, a secondary electrospinning process was applied to the as-prepared single anisotropically conductive films to acquire the final Janus-typed membrane. For this Janus-typed membrane, namely its left-to-right structure, anisotropic electrical conduction synchronously exists on both sides, and furthermore, the two electrically conductive directions are perpendicular. By modulating the amount of Eu(BA)3phen complex and conducting polyaniline (PANI), the characteristics and intensity of the fluorescence-electricity dual-function in the membrane can be tuned. The high integration of this peculiar Janus-typed membrane with simultaneous double electrically conductive anisotropy-fluorescent dual-functionality is successfully realized in this study. This design philosophy and preparative technique will provide support for the design and construction of new types of special nanostructures with multi-functionality.
