Abstract
The anion SiF62- exerts a strong template effect, driving the exclusive assembly of two different bispyridylpyrazolyl ligands into a triple stranded Fe(II) dinuclear heteroleptic helicate, engendering a new class within the large family of coordination helicates.

Abstract
Copper(II) and zinc(II) bis(4,4,4-trifluoro-1-phenylbutane-1,3-dionato) compounds with pyrimidin-2-amine (pyr2a), pyrazine (pyz) and 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane (dpet) were prepared and solid-state structures of coordination polymers [M(tfpb)2(pyr2a)]∞ [M = Cu (1), Zn (2); tfpb = 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-phenylbutane-1,3-dionate], [M(tfpb)2(pyz)]∞ [M = Cu (3), Zn (4a, 4b)] and [Cu(tfpb)2(dpet)]∞ (5), respectively, were determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The coordination of metal centers in all compounds is octahedral with nitrogen ligands occupying the axial positions. Compound (1) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P\bar 1, whereas (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/n. Differences are due to the different orientation of adjacent M(tfpb)2 units, whereas the orientation of pyrimidin-2-amine is the same in both compounds. Polymeric chains in (1) and (2) contain intramolecular N-H...O hydrogen bonding between amino and carbonyl groups. Room-temperature structures (3) and (4a) are isomorphous adopting the monoclinic space group C2/m; however, on cooling crystals (4a) to 150 K a single-crystal-to-single-crystal transformation to (4b) possessing the triclinic space group P\bar 1 was observed. Compound (5) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P\bar 1 and contains a parallel aggregation of chains in contrast to the known structure of the non-fluorinated benzoylacetonato ligand, where chains aggregate in a perpendicular fashion. In the compounds studied intramolecular C-H...O and/or C-H...F interactions are present. The neighboring chains are linked by π...π interactions and in some compounds also by C-H...π interactions [(1), (4b), (5)].

Abstract
In the title pyrimidine derivative, C(4)H(4)ClN(3), the 2-chloro and 4-amino substituents almost lie in the mean plane of the pyrimidine ring, with deviations of 0.003 (1) Å for the Cl atom, and 0.020 (1) Å for the N atom. In the crystal, molecules are linked via pairs of N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers. These dimers are further linked via N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming an undulating two-dimensional network lying parallel to (100).

Abstract
Reactions of the arene-linked bis(pyrazolyl)methane ligands m-bis[bis(1-pyrazolyl)methyl]benzene (m-[CH(pz)2]2C6H4, Lm) and 1,3,5-tris[bis(1-pyrazolyl)methyl]benzene (1,3,5-[CH(pz)2]3C6H3, L3) with BF4- salts of divalent iron, zinc, and cadmium result in fluoride abstraction from BF4- and formation of fluoride-bridged metallacyclic complexes. Treatment of Fe(BF4)2.6H2O and Zn(BF4)2.5H2O with Lm leads to the complexes [Fe2(mu-F)(mu-Lm)2](BF4)3 (1) and [Zn2(mu-F)(mu-Lm)2](BF4)3 (2), in which a single fluoride ligand and two Lm molecules bridge the two metal centers. The reaction of [Cd2(thf)5](BF4)4 with Lm results in the complex [Cd2(mu-F)2(mu-Lm)2](BF4)2 (3), which contains dimeric cations in which two fluoride and two Lm ligands bridge the cadmium centers. Equimolar amounts of the tritopic ligand L3 and Zn(BF4)2.5H2O react to give the related monofluoride-bridged complex [Zn2(mu-F)(mu-L3)2](BF4)3 (4), in which one bis(pyrazolyl)methane unit on each ligand remains unbound. NMR spectroscopic studies show that in acetonitrile the zinc metallacycles observed in the solid-state remain intact in solution.

Abstract
A series of sandwich-shaped complexes based on two square tetranuclear Ag(I) metallomacrocycles, [[Ag4(pprd)4]2(XF6)]-(BF4)6.8MeNO2 (pprd = 4-(2-pyridyl)pyrimidine; X = Si, Ge and Sn), in which a XF6(2-) anion is encapsulated, were prepared and their structures were characterized both in the solid state and solution.
