Abstract
The first Pd-catalyzed asymmetric three-component reaction of 2,3-allenol, aryl iodides, and 2-arylmethylenemolononitriles has been developed via an allenol carbopalladation and an allylic cycloaddition cascade. This process allows rapid access to substituted tetrahydrofurans bearing diverse functional groups in good yields with high diastereoselectivities and excellent enantioselectivities. The concise total synthesis of a lignan, (-)-2-episesaminone, has been achieved by the elaboration of a functionalized tetrahydrofuran obtained from this reaction.

Abstract
Benzyl and allyltriflamides can engage in Pd-catalyzed oxidative (4+2) annulations with allenes, to produce highly valuable tetrahydroisoquinoline or dihydropyridine skeletons. The reaction is especially efficient when carried out in the presence of designed N-protected amino acids as metal ligands. More importantly, using this type of chiral ligands, it is possible to perform desymmetrizing, annulative C-H activations of prochiral diarylmethylphenyl amides, and thus obtain the corresponding isoquinolines with high enantiomeric ratios.

Abstract
A completely different approach for the asymmetric construction of oxazoline derivatives with an excellent enantioselectivity via the palladium-catalyzed coupling-cyclization of N-(buta-2,3-dienyl)amides with aryl iodides has been reported.
Oxazolines are a very important class of heterocyclic compounds. However, catalytic enantioselective syntheses are very limited. Here, a highly enantioselective palladium-catalyzed coupling-cyclization of readily available N-(buta-2,3-dienyl) amides with aryl or 1-alkenyl iodides has been developed for the asymmetric construction of oxazoline derivatives. Many synthetically useful functional groups are tolerated in this reaction. The absolute configuration of the chiral center in the products has been established by X-ray diffraction study. A model for prediction of the absolute configuration of the chiral center in the products from this cyclic enantioselective nucleophilic allylation has been proposed. The synthetic potentials based on the unique structure of the products formed have also been demonstrated.

Abstract
The catalytic synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocycles is of great importance to medicinal and synthetic chemists, and also a challenge for modern chemical methodology. In this paper, we report the synthesis of pyrazolidine derivatives through a domino aza-Michael/hemiacetal sequence with chiral or achiral secondary amines as organocatalysts. Thus, a series of achiral pyrazolidine derivatives were obtained with good yields (up to 90%) and high diastereoselectivities (>20:1) with pyrrolidine as an organocatalyst, and enantioenriched pyrazolidines are also achieved with good results (up to 86% yield, >10/1 regioselectivity, >20:1 dr, 99% ee) in the presence of (S)-diphenylprolinol trimethylsilyl ether catalyst.
