Synthesis and crystal structure of poly[(3-amino-1,2,4-triazole)(μ3-1H-benzimidazole-5,6-di-carboxyl-ato)cobalt(II)]

The asymmetric unit of the title coordination polymer, [Co(C9H4N2O4)(C2H4N4)] n or [Co(L 1)(L 2)] n , consists of one crystallographically independent Co2+ centre, one L 1 2- ligand and one L 2 ligand (L 1 = 1H-benzimidazole-5,6-di-carb-oxy-lic acid, L 2 = 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole). The Co2+ centre is coordinated by two carboxyl-ato-O atoms from two independent L 1 2- ligands and two nitro-gen atoms from L 2 and another L 1 ligand. Thus, the metal center adopts a four-coordinate mode, forming a tetra-hedral geometry. Inter-estingly, through the combination of two L 1 2-, two L 2 ligands and two Co2+ ions, a basic repeating unit is constructed, resulting in the formation of a one-dimensional straight chain structure. These chains are further expanded to the final three-dimensional framework via N-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions.

A Eu(III)-based Metal Organic Framework: Selective Sensing of Picric Acid and Nursing Application Values On the Cerebral Edema Induced by Cerebral Hemorrhage Via Reducing the Coagulation Factor II Activity

A new three-dimensional lanthanide metal-organic framework (Ln-MOF), [Eu₄(L)₄(H₂O)₈]·10H₂O (1, H₃L = biphenyl-3'-nitro-3,4',5-tricarboxylic acid), has been constructed via solvothermal technology and its framework has been detected by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction and elemental analyses. Complex 1 with typical emission of Eu³⁺ ion represents dramatic luminescence quenching affect for picric acid (PA) and the linear Stern-Volmer plot was surveyed in the consistence, ranging from 0.05 to 0.15 mM (K_sv = 98,074 M^- 1). Its therapeutic effect of the compound on the cerebral edema caused by cerebral hemorrhage was estimated and the mechanism was explored. Possible binding interactions have been investigated by molecular docking simulations, from which the binding interactions are identified and the carboxyl oxygens are responsible for those identified interactions.

3D Ln–Organic Frameworks Featuring Lantern-Shaped Dihelicate Chains: Synthesis and Magnetic and Photophysical Properties

The in situ hydrothermal reaction of rare earth nitrate (Ln(NO3)3), 5-(4-carboxyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl) isophthalic acid (H3ctia), and (NH4)2C2O4 resulted in the formation of a series of 3D 4f coordination polymers ([Ln(tia)(C2O4)0.5(H2O)]) (Ln = Nd (1), Sm (2), Eu (3), Gd (4), Tb (5), Dy (6), and tia2– = 5-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl) isophthalate). The results of single crystal X-ray diffraction reveal that the dinuclear lantern sub-building units ([Ln2(CO2)4]2+) are linked by C2O42– to form dihelicate chains, which are connected by tia2– to afford a novel 3D metal–organic framework with an unordinary 3-nodal (2,3,8)-connected topological network with the Schläfli symbol of {4.62}2{42.616.89.10}{6}. Complexes 2, 3, 5, and 6 exhibit strong fluorescent emissions in the visible region and complexes 1, 2, and 6 show characteristic fluorescent emissions in the near-infrared region. In addition, the magnetic properties of complexes 4, 5, and 6 were also investigated.
