Abstract
Ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography coupled with high-field quadrupole Orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry was used for the separation and determination of 20 antihistamines, and a dispersive micro solid-phase extraction procedure using high-performance absorbing material was developed as a sample preparation strategy for extracting 20 antihistamines from milk. Instrument conditions and key parameters influencing extraction efficiency were investigated to obtain an optimized method. The limit of detection for 20 antihistamines in milk using this method is 0.05 µg/L to 1.0 µg/L. Recoveries are between 80.7 % and 108.3 %, and the relative standard deviation is less than 15 %. It is suitable for confirmatory monitoring and quantitative analysis of 20 antihistamines in milk. The results show that antihistamines in milk may be noteworthy issues for human health and environmental pollution.

Abstract
Detection of trace amounts of 2,4,6-Trinitrotoluene as a widely used explosive in the military and industrial sectors is of vital importance due to security and environmental concerns. The sensitive and selective measurement characteristics of the compound still is considered a challenge for analytical chemists. Unlike conventional optical and electrochemical methods, the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique (EIS), has a very high sensitivity, but it faces a significant challenge in that it requires complex and expensive steps to modify the electrode surface with selective agents. We reported the design and construction of an inexpensive, simple, sensitive, and selective impedimetric electrochemical TNT sensor based on the formation of a Meisenheimer complex between magnetic multiwalled carbon nanotubes modified with aminopropyl triethoxysilane (MMWCNTs @ APTES) and TNT. The formation of the mentioned charge transfer complex at the electrode-solution interface blocks the electrode surface and disrupts the charge transfer in [(Fe (CN) 6)] 3-/4- redox probe system. Charge transfer resistance changes (ΔRCT) were used as an analytical response that corresponded to TNT concentration. To investigate the influence of effective parameters on the electrode response, such as pH, contact time, and modifier percentage, the response surface methodology based on central composite design (RSM-CCD) was used. The calibration curve was achieved in the range of 1-500 nM with a detection limit of 0.15 nM under optimal conditions, which included pH of 8.29, contact time of 479 s, and modifier percentage of 12.38% (w/w). The selectivity of the constructed electrode towards several nitroaromatic species was investigated, and no significant interference was found. Finally, the proposed sensor was able to successfully measure TNT in various water samples with satisfactory recovery percentages.

Comparison of clonidine and cyproheptadine determination in animal-derived foods by sweeping-micellar electrokinetic chromatography and large volume sample stacking-capillary zone electrophoresis. ACTA CHROMATOGR 2021. Abstract
Abstract
This study establishes a method for rapid detection of clonidine and cyproheptadine in foods of animal origin. In order to obtain the best detection method, capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE), large volume sample stacking (LVSS), and sweeping-micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography (sweeping-MEKC) were used respectively. The limits of detection (LODs) of clonidine and cyproheptadine by LVSS-CZE were 0.028 μg mL−1 and 0.034 μg mL−1, and those by sweeping-MEKC were 0.023 μg mL−1 and 0.031 μg mL−1, respectively. Compared with the CZE method, the two online pre-concentration technologies have greatly improved the detection sensitivity and achieved good enrichment results. However, compared with the sweeping-MEKC system, the LVSS system consumed a longer time and was greatly affected by the actual sample matrix. The sweeping-MEKC method was proved to be suitable for real sample analysis. Under the best sweeping-MEKC conditions, clonidine and cyproheptadine could be well separated within 8 min and good linear relationships in the range of 0.1–1.0 μg mL−1 (r
2 > 0.99) were obtained. This method was successfully applied to the determination of clonidine and cyproheptadine in animal-derived foods with the recoveries of 82.3%–90.1% and the relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 3.11%. The sweeping-MEKC method is simple to operate and has great potential in the rapid detection of clonidine and cyproheptadine in animal-derived foods.

Abstract
A two-step sample preparation technique based on dispersive micro solid-phase extraction combined with coacervative microextraction is presented for preconcentration and determination of tricyclic antidepressant drugs in biological samples. An important feature of the method is the application of hydrophobic magnetic nanoparticles, which in combination with coacervative microextraction method enables development of rapid and efficient extraction procedure in order to achievement of a high extraction efficiency. Simultaneous optimization by experimental design lead to improvement of method with low cost which supply useful information about interaction among variables. Under the optimized conditions, a linear range of 5-1000ngmL(-1) with detection limits from 0.51 to 1.4ngmL(-1) were obtained for target analytes. The method was successfully used for the determination of analytes in biological fluids (plasma and urine) with relative recoveries in the range of 89-105% (RSDs<3.5%).

Abstract
Based on the phenomenon that each of chlorpromazine (CPZ), promethazine (PMZ), chlorpromazine sulfoxide (CPZSO) and promethazine sulfoxide (PMZSO) could enhance the electrochemiluminescence (ECL) intensity of tris(2,2'-bipyridyl) ruthenium, a novel and sensitive method was proposed for the simultaneous determination of CPZ, PMZ and their main metabolites using capillary electrophoresis (CE) coupled with ECL detection. The influences of several experimental parameters were explored. The optimum experimental conditions were as follows: detection potential of 1. 20 V (Ag/AgCl), 40 mmol/L of phosphate buffer solution (pH 6.5) containing 5 mmol/L tris(2,2'-bipyridyl) ruthenium in ECL detection cell, running buffer solution of 18 mmol/L (pH 4.8), sample injection of 8 s at 11 kV, and separation voltage of 13.5 kV. The detection limits (3sigma) of this method were 8.3 x 10(-7) g/L for CPZ, 7.2 x 10(-6) g/L for PMZ, 1.9 x 10(-5) g/L for CPZSO and 3.7 x 10(-6) g/L for PMZSO. The linear ranges of ECL intensity versus mass concentration of medicaments were 7. 1 x 10(-6) - 6. 3 x 10(-3) g/L for CPZ, 7.5 x 10(-5) - 4.6 x 10(-3) g/L for PMZ, 9.7 x 10(-5) - 3.6 x 10(-3) g/L for CPZSO and 8.1 x 10(-5) - 7.7 x 10(-3) g/L for PMZSO. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) of the four target compounds were not more than 3% for ECL intensity and 1% for migration time. This method has the merits of simplicity, speediness, sensitivity, small sample injection, and free from interference. This method was successfully utilized to directly and simultaneously detect CPZ, PMZ, CPZSO and PMZSO in urine samples of pet dogs.

Abstract
Electromigrative techniques such as capillary and microchip electrophoresis (CE and MCE) are inherently associated with various electrochemical phenomena. The electrolytic processes occurring in the buffer reservoirs have to be considered for a proper design of miniaturized electrophoretic systems and a suitable selection of buffer composition. In addition, the control of the electroosmotic flow plays a crucial role for the optimization of CE/MCE separations. Electroanalytical methods have significant importance in the field of detection in conjunction with CE/MCE. At present, amperometric detection and contactless conductivity detection are the predominating electrochemical detection methods for CE/MCE. This paper reviews the most recent trends in the field of electrochemical detection coupled to CE/MCE. The emphasis is on methodical developments and new applications that have been published over the past five years. A rather new way for the implementation of electrochemical methods into CE systems is the concept of electrochemically assisted injection which involves the electrochemical conversions of analytes during the injection step. This approach is particularly attractive in hyphenation to mass spectrometry (MS) as it widens the range of CE-MS applications. An overview of recent developments of electrochemically assisted injection coupled to CE is presented.
