Improved luminescence properties by the self-assembly of lanthanide compounds with a 1-D chain structure for the sensing of CH3COOH and toxic HS− anions

A family of lanthanide compounds has been explored and enhanced luminescence has been accomplished by doping method. A brand new and multifunctional fluorescence probe was developed, which was able to detect CH₃COOH and HS⁻ with different mechanisms.
