Abstract
The new title one-dimensional CdII coordination polymer, [Cd(C10H10N2)2(μ1,3-N3)2] n , has been synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The asymmetric unit consists of a CdII ion, one azide and one 1-benzyl-imidazole (bzi) ligand. The CdII ion is located on an inversion centre and is surrounded in a distorted octa-hedral coordination sphere by six N atoms from four symmetry-related azide ligands and two symmetry-related bzi ligands. The CdII ions are linked by double azide bridging ligands within a μ1,3-N3 end-to-end (EE) coordination mode, leading to a one-dimensional linear structure extending parallel to [100]. The supra-molecular framework is stabilized by the presence of weak C-H⋯N inter-actions, π-π stacking [centroid-to-centroid distance of 3.832 (2) Å] and C-H⋯π inter-actions between neighbouring chains.

Abstract
The title compound, [CdNa2(C8H4O4)2(C3H7NO)(H2O)2] n or [CdNa2(1,3-bdc)2(DMF)(H2O)2] n , is a new CdII-NaI heterobimetallic coordination polymer. The asymmetric unit consists of one CdII atom, two NaI atoms, two 1,3-bdc ligands, two coordinated water mol-ecules and one coordinated DMF mol-ecule. The CdII atom exhibits a seven-coordinate geometry, while the NaI atoms can be considered to be penta-coordinate. The metal ions and their symmetry-related equivalents are connected via chelating-bridging carboxyl-ate groups of the 1,3-bdc ligands to generate a three-dimensional framework. In the crystal, there are classical O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds involving the coordinated water mol-ecules and the 1,3-bdc carboxyl-ate groups and π-π stacking between the benzene rings of the 1,3-bdc ligands present within the frameworks.

Abstract
Two novel coordination polymers, namely {[Zn(sbdc)(bmib)]·0.4H2O}n (1) and {[Zn(sbdc)(bibd)]·DMF}n (2) (H2sbdc = 4,4′-stilbenedicarboxylic, bmib = 1,4-bis(2-methylimidazol-1-yl)butane, bibd = 1,1′-(1,4-butanediyl)bis(imidazole), DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide), have been acquired under solvothermal conditions, and have been characterised by elemental analysis, infrared spectra, thermogravimetric analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). Single-crystal XRD analysis reveals that 1 shows eight-fold interpenetrating 3D frameworks with a four-connected (66) sqc6 topology and 2 displays four-connected three-fold interpenetrating 3D frameworks. The flexible N-donor ligands play an important role in the construction of the final topological structures for 1 and 2. Furthermore, 1 and 2 exhibit good photodegradation capability and photoluminescence properties.

Abstract
A 3D MOF {[Co(bibp)(1,4-chdc)]·2H2O}n (1) (bibp = 4,4′-bis(1-imidazolyl)biphenyl, 1,4-H2chdc = 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid) was hydrothermally synthesized. This framework buries an unprecedented self-catenated net with the highest topological density among the 4-coordinated nets. The photo-catalytic and electrochemical activities were investigated.

Abstract
Three new 2D copper(ii) complexes [Cu(NIPH)(L)] (1), [Cu(BDC)(L)(H2O)] (2), and [Cu(HBTC)(L)]·2H2O (3) were hydrothermally synthesized by self-assembly of aromatic polycarboxylates (H2NIPH = 5-nitroisophthalic acid, H2BDC = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid, H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid) and the flexible bis(pyridylamide) ligand L (L = N,N′-di(3-pyridyl)succinamide), and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, and elemental, IR, and thermogravimetric analyses. Compound 1 is a 2D coordination polymer based on tri-flexural helix chains (left-, right-handed [Cu-L]n helix chains, and left-handed Cu-NIPH helix chain). Compound 2 exhibits a 2D wavelike polymeric layer structure constructed from a 1D [Cu-L]n sinusoidal chain and a 1D [Cu-BDC]n V-like chain. Compound 3 possesses a 2D double-layer network formed from 1D [Cu-L]n zigzag chains and 1D [Cu-HBTC]2n double chains. The fluorescent properties of the three compounds and the electrochemical behaviour of compound 2-bulk-modified carbon paste electrode were also studied.
