Abstract
Nanowires of a pyridyl-functionalized iridium complex are transformed into microcubes as a result of hydrogen-bond-assisted second-sphere coordination between pyridyl groups and monovalent anions of 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H2BTC−).
