Abstract
We have synthesized a series of binuclear rare-earth metal complexes bearing the newly designed enamino-oxazolinate ligands that feature bridging para-phenyl, meta-phenyl, 1,5-naphthalenyl, and 1,5-anthracenyl moieties. NMR and X-ray diffraction analyses confirmed the binuclear structures of the obtained complexes with two enamino-oxazolinate-metal units located at a trans position against the bridged aryl plane. After activation by [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4], all the rare-earth metal complexes served as efficient catalysts for isoprene polymerization, producing polymers with high cis-1,4 regularity (up to 96.1%) and high molecular weight. The steric and electronic effects exerted on the active metal centers, as well as the radius of metal centers, were the major contributing factors for determining both the catalytic activity and cis-1,4-selectivity of the binuclear catalytic systems. Compared to its mononuclear analogue, the binuclear yttrium catalytic system with a para-phenyl bridge exhibited a higher thermostability and catalytic efficiency during polymerization, revealing a special binuclear effect in this binuclear catalytic system.

Abstract
We report the synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of a new low-symmetry β-diketimine featuring a pendant amino(methyl)phenol donor and its corresponding heteroleptic rare-earth (RE) complexes. This includes the first structurally characterized examples of alcoholysis and insertion from an isolated REIII amide in a β-diketimine framework. The flexible methylene linkage leads to REIII complexes with tunable dynamic solution behavior that defines their stoichiometric and catalytic reactivity. The addition of a strong neutral donor ligand, tricyclohexylphosphine oxide, suppresses a prevalent catalyst degradation pathway (base-promoted elimination) and dramatically enhances the catalyst performance in the stereospecific ring-opening polymerization of rac-β-butyrolactone. Our results further demonstrate the importance of ligand reorganization in the stoichiometric and catalytic activity of REIII ions.

Abstract
One-pot salt metathesis reaction of LnCl3, [2,6-iPr2C6H3N(SiMe3)]Li and LiN(SiHMe2)2 in 1 : 1 : 2 molar ratio gave [2,6-iPr2C6H3N(SiMe3)]Ln[N(SiHMe2)2]2(THF) (Ln = Y, Lu, La), which were highly active for cis-1,4 polymerization of isoprene in the presence of [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] and AliBu3.
