Abstract
Polyoxovanadates (POVs), as one of the most prominent members of polyoxometalates (POMs), have been subject to extensive studies by virtue of their aesthetically intriguing structures and potential applications in catalysis, magnetism, and optics, among others. In recent years, organo-functionalized POVs have received considerable attention due to the combination of the advantages of POVs with the importance of organic species. In this review, the key developments of polyoxovanadates and, particularly, the achievements that are related to polyoxovanadates modified with organic ligands and transition metal-organic ligand are summarized. Herein, we systematically introduce the structural features of organo-functionalized POVs and their main applications involved in the magnetism and catalysis aspects. Finally, the current challenges and future prospects in the design, synthesis, and property investigation of polyoxovanadates are also discussed.

Abstract
Bimetallic materials based on tetravanadate anions and mixed ligand copper(ii) complexes were readily synthesized under non-hydrothermal conditions. The compounds show interesting structural and magnetic diversity mediated by copper symmetry.

Abstract
Two Mn(ii) CPs have been synthesized by mixed-ligand strategy and measured for their magnetic properties. Moreover, analysis of the magnetic structure–effect relationship indicates that 1 and 2 have different Mn chains of magnetic interactions.

Abstract
A novel zinc vanadate (NH4)4[Zn5VIV4VV16O56H2(H2O)4] was synthesized by the hydrothermal method and a zinc-vanadium-water system without any organic media was studied for the first time. The pH and the reaction time play important roles in the formation of the final products and the structure-change of the different products was also discussed. The new phase (NH4)4[Zn5VIV4VV16O56H2(H2O)4] is a three-dimensional structure with a novel V5O14 layer connected by ZnO4 and ZnO6 polyhedra. The V5O14 layer in (NH4)4[Zn5VIV4VV16O56H2(H2O)4] was constructed with four distorted VO5 square pyramids and one regular VO4 triangular pyramid which is different from the reported ones due to the pure inorganic mild synthesis conditions.

Abstract
Previous neuropathological studies regarding traumatic brain injury have primarily focused on changes in large structures, for example, the clinical prognosis after cerebral contusion, intracerebral hematoma, and epidural and subdural hematoma. In fact, many smaller injuries can also lead to severe neurological disorders. For example, cerebral microbleeds result in the dysfunction of adjacent neurons and the disassociation between cortex and subcortical structures. These tiny changes cannot be adequately visualized on CT or conventional MRI. In contrast, gradient echo sequence-based susceptibility-weighted imaging is very sensitive to blood metabolites and microbleeds, and can be used to evaluate traumatic cerebral microbleeds with high sensitivity and accuracy. Cerebral microbleed can be considered as an important imaging marker for diffuse axonal injury with potential relevance for prognosis. For this reason, based on experimental and clinical studies, this study reviews the role of imaging data showing traumatic cerebral microbleeds in the evaluation of cerebral neuronal injury and neurofunctional loss.
