Abstract
A heterogeneous catalyst comprising Keggin type polyoxometalate, silicotungstic acid (SiW12), and MCM-22 was synthesized using wet impregnation method and characterized by acidity measurement, BET, FT-IR, XRD, and SEM. Their catalytic activity was evaluated for the degradation of cationic organic dyes like methylene blue (MB), crystal violet (CV), and an azo dye Chryosidine Y (CY) in an aqueous solution. The experimental parameters such as catalyst amount, initial dye concentration, and contact time were studied for the degradation of dyes, and it was found that the cationic dyes like methylene blue and crystal violet show better activity as compared to azo dye Chryosidine Y. This may be attributed to better electrostatic interaction of these cationic dyes with the residual negative surface charge of the catalyst, due to presence of SiW12 ion as it is rich in surface oxygens and surface hydroxyl groups. The control experimental results showed that the presence of SiW12 at the surface of MCM-22 promoted the degradation reactions, and presence of multiple W-O bonds in polyoxometalate also played a key role in this reaction. The catalyst exhibits recycling ability without any significant loss in activity up to four cycles.

Abstract
La-exchanged 12-tungstophosphoric acid (LaxTPA) and 12-molybdophosphoric acid (LaxMPA) salts (x = 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1.00) were prepared via an ion exchange method. The physico-chemical characteristics of the materials were analyzed by using elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transformed infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), N2-physical adsorption, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and acidity-basicity measurements. The results indicated that La was introduced into the secondary structure of heteropolyacid (HPA) and have not influenced the primary structure, which effectively improved the surface area and pore size. Acidity-basicity studies indicated that incorporation of La resulted in a decrease in the number of acid sites and an increase in the number of basic sites. The catalytic activity of samples was studied in transesterification of glyceryl tributyrate with methanol and LaxTPA samples which exhibited high activity compared to LaxMPA samples due to having more active basic sites and a larger surface area. Calcined LaxTPA samples showed excellent stability, outstanding recyclability, and high activity for one pot transesterification and esterification processes. This outcome was attributed to the presence of balanced acidic and basic sites.

Abstract
Supramolecular materials assembled by amide-functionalized surface active ionic liquid, N-dodecyl- N'-acetamido imidazolium bromide ([C12ImCONH2]Br), and europium-containing polyoxometalates (Eu-POM) were fabricated in aqueous solution by a one-step method via ionic self-assembly strategy. The [C12ImCONH2]Br/Eu-POM supramolecular structures exhibit favorable fluorescence properties and represent a 15-fold increase in quantum yield (∼13.68%) compared to Eu-POM. Besides, more fluorescence was quenched obviously with the increasing concentration of dopamine (DA) (within the range of 0-100 μM), based on which DA monitoring could be achieved. The detection limit was identified to be 0.1 μM. The supramolecular nanoparticles are highly specific for the detection of DA. In addition, the hybrid assemblies display not only low cytotoxicity but also excellent biocompatibility to MC3T3-E1 cells. As a result, as-prepared supramolecular materials with these superior properties show the promising application in some fields such as biochemistry and biomedical science.

Abstract
The first 8-connected 2D layer based on basket-liked {Sr⊂P6Mo18O73} cage was prepared, which exhibits high-efficient photodegradation ability for MB, RhB, and AP under visible and UV light, as well as bifunctional electrocatalytic behavior.
