Abstract
Heterogeneous photocatalysts present a favourable procedure to realize green and eco-friendly organic reactions. We have demonstrated an SB-DABCO@eosin catalyst in a green one-pot multi-component protocol for the production of various chromeno[4,3-b]chromenes via condensation of aromatic aldehydes and dimedone under the photo-redox catalyst bearing eosin Y using visible light. The synthesized nanocatalyst was characterized using various physicochemical techniques such as FT-IR, XRD, EDX, UV-vis, SEM, TGA and DRS. The significant advantages of the present methodology include excellent yield, cost-effectiveness, easy work-up, 100% atom economy, broad substrate scope, easy separation and efficient recycling. Furthermore, the evidence showed that the investigated condensation reaction proceeds via a radical mechanism, which proved the need for reactive species such as OH˙ and ˙O2 - in the photocatalytic process. In addition to the improved handling and process control, the yield of products and the rate of reactions have increased considerably in the present strategy. Reproducibility studies also guarantee good reusability and stability of the nanocatalyst for at least five runs.

Abstract
In this research, the synthesis of novel indeno[1,2-b]pyrano[2,3-f]chromene-2,12(13H)-dione derivatives in the presence of a newly introduced magnetically recoverable nanosolid acid catalyst is reported. At the first, phosphoric acid-functionalized silica-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4@SiO2-(CH2)3OPO3H2) were prepared and well characterized using infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) techniques. Then, the catalytic activity of the prepared Fe3O4@ SiO2-(CH2)3OPO3H2 nanocatalyst was investigated for the synthesis of novel indeno[1,2-b]pyrano[2,3-f]chromene-2,12(13H)-dione derivatives via a one-pot and three-component condensation between 5,7-dihydroxy-4-methylcoumarin, indane-1, 3-dione, and various aromatic aldehydes under solvent-free condition. All the products are unknown, and their characterization was performed with the spectral data information obtained from their FT-IR, 1H and 13CNMR, elemental analysis, and their melting points. The reusability study of the introduced nanosolid acid catalyst showed that the catalytic stability is almost completely remained up to five consecutive runs.

Abstract
The use of montmorillonite clay as solid catalyst has grabbed much attention in the liquid phase reactions for organic synthesis. In recent years, there has been a lot of interest in organic synthesis using montmorillonite-based composites, especially in the synthesis of heterogeneous nanoparticles. Due to the robust and green nature of montmorillonite-based nanocatalysts, it has been widely used in N-heterocyclic reactions. In this review, we have concentrated on the reports pertaining the use of montmorillonite-based nanocatalyst in the synthesis of N-heterocycles, a category of organic compounds with excellent biological properties. This manuscript is arranged by the types of N-containing heterocycles synthesized using montmorillonite-based composite as catalysts including polycyclic spirooxindoles, heterocyclic propargylamine, indole-based heterocycles, quinoline and its derivatives, six-membered N-heterocyclic-based compounds and five-membered N-heterocyclic-based compounds. Special attention was given to the structural stability under experimental parameters of the montmorillonite-based composite with the incidence of metal leaching and reusability. Finally, along with recent developments, new findings in heterogeneous montmorillonite (Mt)-based catalysis have also been addressed.

Abstract
The quinoline core possesses a vast number of biological activities such as anticancer, antimalarial, antimicrobial, antifungal, antitubercular and antileishmanial. The conventional classical synthetic methods require the use of expensive and harsh conditions such as high temperature. Currently the scientific communities are searching new methodology to eliminate the use of chemicals, solvents and catalysts, which are hazardous to human health as well as to environment. This review provides a concise overview of new dimensions of green chemistry approaches in designing quinoline scaffold that would encourage the researchers towards green chemistry as well as future application of these greener, non-toxic, environment friendly methods in designing quinoline scaffold.
