Abstract
The precise tuning of components, spatial orientations, or connection modes for redox units is vital for gaining deep insight into efficient artificial photosynthetic overall reaction, yet it is still hard achieve for heterojunction photocatalysts. Here, we have developed a series of redox molecular junction covalent organic frameworks (COFs) (M-TTCOF-Zn, M = Bi, Tri, and Tetra) for artificial photosynthetic overall reaction. The covalent connection between TAPP-Zn and multidentate TTF endows various connection modes between water photo-oxidation (multidentate TTF) and CO2 photoreduction (TAPP-Zn) centers that can serve as desired platforms to study the possible interactions between redox centers. Notably, Bi-TTCOF-Zn exhibits a high CO production rate of 11.56 μmol g-1 h-1 (selectivity, ∼100%), which is more than 2 and 6 times higher than those of Tri-TTCOF-Zn and Tetra-TTCOF-Zn, respectively. As revealed by theoretical calculations, Bi-TTCOF-Zn facilitates a more uniform distribution of energy-level orbitals, faster charge transfer, and stronger *OH adsorption/stabilization ability than those of Tri-TTCOF-Zn and Tetra-TTCOF-Zn.

Abstract
Reagentless electrochemical glucose biosensors were developed and investigated. A graphite rod (GR) electrode modified with electrochemically synthesized dendritic gold nanostructures (DGNs) and redox mediators (Med) such as ferrocenecarboxylic acid (FCA), 1,10-phenathroline-5,6-dione (PD), N,N,N',N'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) or tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) in combination with glucose oxidase (GOx) (GR/DGNs/FCA/GOx, GR/DGNs/PD/GOx, GR/DGNs/TMB/GOx, or GR/DGNs/TTF/GOx) were developed and electrochemically investigated. A biosensor based on threefold-layer-by-layer-deposited PD and GOx (GR/DGNs/(PD/GOx)3) was found to be the most suitable for the determination of glucose. To improve the performance of the developed biosensor, the surface of the GR/DGNs/(PD/GOx)3 electrode was modified with polypyrrole (Ppy) for 5 h. A glucose biosensor based on a GR/DGNs/(PD/GOx)3/Ppy(5 h) electrode was characterized using a wide linear dynamic range of up to 39.0 mmol L-1 of glucose, sensitivity of 3.03 µA mM-1 cm-2, limit of detection of 0.683 mmol L-1, and repeatability of 9.03% for a 29.4 mmol L-1 glucose concentration. The Ppy-based glucose biosensor was characterized by a good storage stability (τ1/2 = 9.0 days). Additionally, the performance of the developed biosensor in blood serum was investigated.

Abstract
The field of organic electronics has been prolific in the last couple of years, leading to the design and synthesis of several molecular semiconductors presenting a mobility in excess of 10 cm2 V-1 s-1 . However, it is also started to recently falter, as a result of doubtful mobility extractions and reduced industrial interest. This critical review addresses the community of chemists and materials scientists to share with it a critical analysis of the best performing molecular semiconductors and of the inherent charge transport physics that takes place in them. The goal is to inspire chemists and materials scientists and to give them hope that the field of molecular semiconductors for logic operations is not engaged into a dead end. To the contrary, it offers plenty of research opportunities in materials chemistry.

Abstract
We report the in situ self-assembly of TTF, TTF•+, and BF4- or PF6- into p-type semiconductors on the surface of Pt microparticles dispersed in water/acetonitrile mixtures. The visible light photoactivation of these self-assemblies leads to water oxidation forming O2 and H+, with an efficiency of 100% with respect to the initial concentration of TTF•+. TTF•+ is then completely reduced to TTF upon photoreduction with water. The Pt microparticles act as floating microelectrodes whose Fermi level is imposed by the different redox species in solution; here predominantly TTF, TTF•+, and HTTF+, which furthermore showed no signs of decomposition in solution.
