Templating synthesis of metal oxides by an incipient wetness impregnation route and their activities for CO oxidation

Co₃O₄ templated from mesoporous silica show stable and better activity for CO oxidation than that synthesized by the traditional sol–gel method.

LaCoO3-based sensors with high sensitivity to carbon monoxide

LaCoO₃-based sensors, as fabricated by LaCoO₃ nanoparticles of ∼82 nm, show a response of ∼279.86 toward CO at 500 °C, due to the high content of O₂²⁻/O⁻ species in LaCoO₃.
