Abstract
Lanthanide-based crystalline coatings have a great potential for energy-conversion devices, but until now luminescent surface-anchored materials were difficult to fabricate. Thin films, called lanthanides surface-mounted metal-organic frameworks (SURMOFs) with tetrasubstituted halide (fluorine, chlorine, and bromine) terephthalic acid derivative linkers as a basic platform for optical devices, exhibit a high quantum yield of fluorescence visible to the naked eyes under ambient light. We show that we can tune the luminescent properties in thin films by halide substitution, which affords control over the molecular structure of the material. We rationalize the mechanism for the modulation of the photophysical properties by "antenna effect", which controls the energy transfer and quantum yields using experimental and theoretical techniques for chelated lanthanides as a function of the type of atom substitutions at the phenyl rings and the resulting dihedral angle between phenyl rings in the linkers and carboxylate groups.

Abstract
Since Ln-CPs have excellent optical properties (higher color purity, longer fluorescence lifetime and higher quantum yield) and magnetic properties, it is of great significance to prepare dual magneto-optical materials based on Ln(iii). Herein, we obtained three versatile Ln-CPs, [Ln(HDTTA)3(CH3OH)3] n , derived from reactions of lanthanide salts (Ln = Tb 1, Dy 2, Ho 3) and a chiral and flexible ligand, namely, (+)-di-p-toluoyl-d-tartaric acid (d-H2DTTA) in a methanol-water solution, at room temperature and pressure. The structures of these compounds have been characterized by single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, elemental analyses and thermogravimetric analyses. Complexes 1-3 are isomorphic, crystallizing in the chiral trigonal R3 space group with the linkage of Ln3+ ions and featuring 1D propeller chain structures. The circular dichroism spectra confirm that the complexes maintain the chirality from the ligands. Furthermore, the luminescent and magnetic properties have been investigated, relying on intrinsic properties of the lanthanide ions. The photoluminescence measurements indicate that 1, 2 and 3 show strong green, white and blue emission bands with CIE chromaticity coordinates of (0.32, 0.56), (0.29, 0.26) and (0.21, 0.12), respectively. The decay lifetime curve of 1 shows the exponential decay with long lifetime of 1.169 ms and the relative quantum yield for 1 was 19.31%. In addition, the magnetic properties of complexes 1-3 have been investigated by measuring the magnetic susceptibility in the temperature range of 2-300 K. They are all dominated by spin-orbit coupling and ligand field perturbation, and the exchange coupling between Ln3+ ions is almost negligible. Therefore, complexes 1-3 are promising chiral, optical and magnetic multifunctional materials.

Abstract
Abstract
A well-known selective xanthine oxidase inhibitor topiroxostat, 4-[3-(4-pyridinyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-yl]-2-pyridinecarbonitrile (ptpc), was selected to react with Cu(NO3)2 · 3H2O in dialkylformamide solvents, affording two novel supramolecular coordination compounds [Cu(ptpc)2(NO3)(DMF)2] · NO3 (1) and Cu(ptpc)2(NO3)2(DEF)2 (2). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed that compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c. The components are assembled to a 3D supramolecular framework through hydrogen-bonding interactions between the large [Cu(ptpc)2(NO3)(DMF)2]+ cationic moieties and the nitrate anions. Compound 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1̅ and shows a 2D hydrogen-bonded network structure. The results clearly indicate that dialkylformamide solvents with different sizes have an important influence on the structures of the complexes. The luminescence properties of 1 and 2 in the solid state and their thermal stabilities were also investigated.

Abstract
Abstract
The reaction of 4-thiazolecarboxylic acid (Htzc) and dimethyltin(IV) dichloride with NaOH in mixed MeOH-H2O solvent led to the formation of a new Sn(IV) complex (Me2Sn)4(μ
3-O)2(tzc)4 (1). Its structure has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed that complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic P21/c space group with Z = 2 and has a tetranuclear structure with crystallographically imposed centrosymmetry. The as-synthesized complex 1 was found to be active toward the bulk solvent-free polymerization of glycolide, producing poly(glycolic acid) with a number-average molecular weight up to 55.5 kDa.
