Prepared MnO2 with different crystal forms as electrode materials for supercapacitors: experimental research from hydrothermal crystallization process to electrochemical performances

The aim of this study was to prepare manganese dioxide with different crystal forms through hydrothermal treatment of MnSO₄·H₂O–KMnO₄ precursors at various precursor ratios, temperatures, time periods, and pH values.

In situ anchoring uniform MnO2 nanosheets on three-dimensional macroporous graphene thin-films for supercapacitor electrodes

A three-dimensional macroporous rGO/MnO₂ thin-film is developed through template method and the redox reaction between KMnO₄ and amorphous carbon. The hybrid film shows improved electrochemical performances for supercapacitor electrode application.
