Abstract
This study reports selective dual amino acylation and C-H bromination of aniline compounds enabled by Cu/O2 catalyst systems. This method involves crucial oxidation-induced C-CN bond cleavage of α-methylene nitriles to generate an acylcyanide intermediate that is facilely intercepted by anilines. After amino acylation, the Cu(II) precatalyst in combination with NBS generates Cu(III)-Br in situ that engages in selective electrophilic para- or ortho-C-H bromination. The substrate scope, mechanistic aspects, and late-stage functionalization of biologically active anilines are studied. This study shows the synthetic potential of oxidative C-CN bond activation of nitriles for the development of valuable reactions.

Abstract
A Cu-electrocatalytic azidation of N-aryl enamines and subsequent denitrogenative annulation for the construction of quinoxaline frameworks is reported. Only 0.5 mol % of copper(II) chloride was employed for this cascade transformation displaying excellent functional-group compatibility even with complex bioactive scaffolds. The efficient electro-oxidative protocol enables the use of NaN3 as the cheapest azide source. Detailed mechanistic experiments, cyclic voltammetry, and spectroscopic studies provided strong evidence for a dual role of the Cu catalyst in azidyl and iminyl radical generation steps.

Abstract
The Candida antarctica lipase B (Novozym 435) is found to catalyze a novel decarboxylative Michael addition in vinylogous carbamate systems for the synthesis of 1,4-benzoxazinone derivatives. The reaction goes through Michael addition, ester hydrolysis and decarboxylation. A possible mechanism is suggested, with simultaneous lipase-catalyzed Michael addition and ester hydrolysis. The present methodology offers formation of complex products through multi-step reactions in a one pot process under mild and facile reaction conditions with moderate to high yields (51–90%) and no side product formation. The reaction seems to be is a great example of enzymatic promiscuity.

Abstract
Here we have demonstrated a visible-light-mediated metal-free organic-dye-catalyzed dehydrogenative N-insertion leading to highly substituted imidazoles and privileged dihydroisoquinoline-based imidazole derivatives via C(sp3)-H and C(sp2)-H bond functionalization. A sustainable, convenient, metal-free azidation/C-H aminative cyclization approach in the absence of stoichiometric oxidants is presented. This protocol involves a rare photoinduced iminyl radical as a key intermediate for the "N" insertion.

Abstract
The direct oxidative cleavage of activated alkynes via hydroamination has been described using organic photocatalyst under visible-light irradiation at room temperature. In this reaction, the single electron oxidation of an in situ formed enamine followed by radical coupling with an oxidant finally delivers the oxamate. The key features of this photocatalytic reaction are the mild reaction conditions, metal-free organic dye as a photocatalyst, and TBHP playing a dual role as “O” source and for the regeneration of the photocatalyst. The direct oxidative cleavage of activated alkynes via hydroamination has been described using organic photocatalyst under visible-light irradiation at room temperature.![]()

Abstract
Fluoroalkylated quinoxlines with various groups were efficiently synthesized via a one-pot tandem Michael addition/azidation/cycloamination process. Under the mild and metal-free conditions, a bis-imine intermediate (4a) was detected and isolated for the first time. KI played a crucial role in this reaction. The mechanism was described.
