Abstract
A series of cyclometalated (N^C^N) Pt(II)-platinum complexes featuring a terpyridine ligand with a non-coordinating nitrogen atom and a Pt-C bond was synthesized. In the presence of Ag+, the bis(isonitrile)Pt(II) complex formed a remarkable self-assembled helicoidal dimer stabilized by coordination of Ag(I) and metallophilic Pt-Ag interactions. Its assembly was observed in the solid state and maintained in solution. All complexes show strong luminescence and multiple emitting states, which could be rationalized based on solid state X-ray structures and coordinating environment.

Abstract
The reactions of cycloplatinated guanidinate(1-) complexes 1-6 with AgTFA (TFA = OC(O)CF3) in 1:1 and 1:2 PtII/AgI molar ratios afforded complexes containing three types of Pt2Ag2 skeletons (7-10, 11, and 13), one 1D CP containing Pt2Ag3 skeleton (16), and a Pt2Ag4 complex (17) in 91-95% (method 1), 73-82% (method 2) (7-10), and 54-79% (11, 13, 16, and 17) yields. The reactions of 11 with 2,6-XylNC (2,6-Xyl = 2,6-Me2C6H3) and 4-DMAP (4-dimethylaminopyridine) gave a neutral complex 18 and an ionic complex 19, respectively. Molecular structures of 12 complexes were unambiguously determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Ten complexes contain unprecedented PtAg skeletons and are shown to contain multiple number of dative Pt → Ag bonds supported by the TFA ligand, platinated carbon of the TAG ligand, or both these ligands in conjunction with the Ag-Ag contacts stabilized by argentophilic interaction. Further, the new complexes were characterized by analytical, IR, and multinuclear NMR (19F, 1H, 13C{1H}, and 195Pt) spectroscopies, powder X-ray diffraction, and TGA/DTA. In solution, 9 and 19 exist in more than one form as identified by multinuclear NMR, and this behavior is ascribed to the restricted (N2)C-N(H)Ar single-bond rotation of the TAG ligand. The photophysical properties of 9 and 11 are reported.

Abstract
Multinuclear Ag clusters sandwiched by Pt complex units were synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and NMR studies. The sandwich-shaped multinuclear Ag complexes showed two different types of fluxional behavior in solution: rapid slippage of Pt complex units on the Ag3 core and a reversible demetalation-metalation reaction by the treatment with Cl anion and Ag ion, respectively. The Ag2 complex obtained by demetalation reaction from the Ag3 complex displayed U to Z isomerization. These multinuclear Ag complexes showed strong photoluminescence whose properties depended on the existence of Pt→Ag dative bonds. The Ag3 complex, identified to be "chiral-at-cluster", was optically resolved by the formation of a diastereomeric salt with a chiral anion. The enantiomers show circular dichroism (CD) and circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) properties which is unprecedented for compounds based on a chiral sandwich structure. Theoretical calculations allow to understand their structural features and photophysical properties.

Abstract
The synthesis and photophysical properties of the heteropolynuclear Pt-Ag complex having cyclometalated rollover bipyridine ligands (bpy*) and bridging pyrazolato ligands are reported. The Pt2Ag2 complex was synthesized by two step reactions from a Pt(II) complex precursor having the rollover bpy* ligand, [Pt(bpy*)(dmso)Cl], with 3,5-dimethylpyrazole (Me2pzH) and a subsequent replacement of NH protons in the Me2pzH moieties with the Ag(I) ion. The Pt2Ag2 complex exists as a mixture of U- and Z-shaped isomers in solution, whose structures were clearly determined by single-crystal X-ray structural analyses. NMR studies using the single crystals revealed rapid isomerization of the Pt2Ag2 complexes in solution, although the Pt2Ag2 structures were supported effectively by the multiple metal-metal interactions. Furthermore, the Pt2Ag2 framework can capture a Ag(I) ion during the U-Z isomerization to afford a Pt2Ag3 core with the formation of Pt → Ag dative bonds. The Pt2Ag3 complex showed further aggregation to form a dimer structure in the presence of coordinating solvent via the crystallization process. The formation of Pt → Ag dative bonds significantly changes the emission energy from the Pt2Ag2 complex, while the emission spectra of U- and Z-isomers of Pt2Ag2 complex almost coincide with each other and their emissive properties are very similar. The density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) calculations revealed the effects of additional Ag(I) ion on the photophysical properties of the heteropolynuclear Pt-Ag complexes bearing the rollover bpy* ligands.

Abstract
An air-stable heterometallic Bi-Pt complex with the formula [BiPt(SAc)5]n (1; SAc = thioacetate) was synthesized. The crystal structure, natural bond orbital (NBO) and local orbital locator (LOL) analyses, localized orbital bonding analysis (LOBA), and X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) measurements were used to confirm the existence of Bi-Pt bonding and an ionic cage of O atoms surrounding the Bi ion. From the cyclic voltammetry (CV) and controlled potential electrolysis (CPE) experiments, 1 in tetrahydrofuran reduced CO2 to CO, with a faradaic efficiency (FE) of 92% and a turnover frequency (TOF) of 8 s-1 after 30 min of CPE at -0.79 V vs. NHE. The proposed mechanism includes an energetically favored pathway via the ionic cage, which is supported by the results of DFT calculations and reflectance infrared spectroelectrochemistry data.

Abstract
A highly twisted U-shaped Pt2Ag2 complex bearing pyridyl–NHC ligands showed isomerization to Z-shaped conformations via an intermolecular process. 1H NMR experiments revealed that the isomerization reached U : Z = 2 : 1 ratio in a thermodynamic equilibrium state.
