Abstract
An efficient method for the radical difunctionalization of aromatic alkynes has been developed, resulting in the synthesis of a range of valuable triarylethenes. This approach utilizes strategically designed aryldiazonium salts with tertiary alcohol substitution as bifunctional reagents, along with cost-effective cuprous chloride as a catalyst. The method demonstrates remarkable Z-selectivity and is capable of gram-scale preparation. Additionally, a novel spin-trapping reagent has been developed based on the synthesized product.

Abstract
A mild and efficient Cu-assisted trifluoromethylthiolation/radical cascade cyclization of alkynes with readily available and stable AgSCF3 as the trifluoromethylthiolating reagent has been disclosed. This transformation provides an opportunity to construct a series of potential medicinally valuable trifluoromethylthio-substituted dioxodibenzothiazepines with wide functional group compatibility. This protocol opens up a new avenue for the construction of useful trifluoromethylthiolated seven-membered N-heterocycles.

Abstract
The difunctionalization of alkenes involving a trifluoromethylthio group (SCF3) for the conversion of versatile and readily available olefins into structurally more complex molecules has been successfully studied. However, the disproportionate dithiolation of alkenes is unknown. Herein, a transition-metal-free protocol is presented for the vicinal trifluoromethylthio-thiolation of unactivated alkenes via a radical process under mild conditions with a broad substrate scope and excellent tolerance.

Abstract
Tetrasubstituted trifluoromethylthiolated alkenes can be accomplished directly through the chlorotrifluoromethylthiolation of sulfur ylides utilizing nucleophilic halide reagent and electrophilic SCF3 reagent. This cascade reaction is mild, highly practical, easy to manipulate, uses catalyst-free conditions, and demonstrates a wide substrate range with excellent functional group tolerance, furnishing E-selective products in good to high yields. The synthetic utility of this approach is documented through gram-scale preparation and late-stage modification of pharmaceutically relevant compounds, making it suitable for drug discovery.

Abstract
An ynamide-mediated one-pot, two-step intermolecular esterification via the condensation of carboxylic acids with nucleophilic hydroxyl species was reported. A broad substrate scope with respect to carboxylic acids, alcohols, and phenols was observed. The α-acyloxyenamide intermediates formed by the addition of carboxylic acids to ynamides proved to be effective acylating reagents for the esterification of alcohol and phenol derivatives with the assistance of base catalysis. Notably, the racemization of the α-chiral center of carboxylic acids can be avoided.

Abstract
A cascade oxidative trifluoromethylthiolation and cyclization of N-[(3-aryl)propioloyl]indoles with AgSCF3 is described. This protocol allows for the synthesis of novel bis(trifluoromethylthiolated) or trifluoromethylthiolated pyrrolo[1,2-a]indol-3-ones in moderate to good yields. Mechanistic investigations indicated that radical processes were probably involved in these transformations.

Abstract
A H2O mediated practical and highly regioselective chloro- and bromo-trifluoromethylthiolation of sulfur ylides is reported using a difunctionalization strategy. In the reaction sequence, sulfur ylides presumably react with an electrophilic trifluoromethylthiolating reagent to generate an α-SCF3 substituted sulfonium salt intermediate, which then undergoes a substitution with nucleophilic halogens.

Abstract
An oxidative trifunctionalization of aryl alkynoates has been devised via the chalcogenide radical triggered intramolecular 1,4-aryl migration/decarboxylation cascade to prepare 1,1-dichalcogenide tetrasubstituted alkenes in high yields (up to 98 %). This operationally simple reaction proceeds under metal-free conditions, can be executed on gram scale, and highlights formal 1,1-difunctionalization of alkynes. Synthetic potential of this protocol was demonstrated through a twofold cascade rearrangement to access highly conjugated tetra-selenylated alkenes along with a cross-dehydrogenative annulation to prepare fluorene derivative.

Abstract
An efficient and general visible-light-mediated trifluoromethylthiolation of N-(o-cyanobiaryl)acrylamides has been successfully accomplished using N-trifluoromethylthiosaccharin as an effective source of SCF3 radicals. The reaction was proposed to proceed via a domino radical trifluoromethylthiolation/cyano insertion/cyclization to afford the corresponding SCF3-containing ring-fused phenanthridine derivatives in moderate to good yields.
