Abstract
A simple and concise method for the synthesis of cinnolines has been developed by the reactions of readily available enaminones and aryl diazonium tetrafluoroboronates. The reactions run efficiently to provide cinnolines with broad diversity in the substructure by heating in dimethyl sulfoxide without using any catalyst or additive. In addition, the primary investigation of the anti-inflammatory activity of these products leads to the observation of p-chlorobenzoyl (3f) and p-nitrobenzoyl (3j) cinnolines as attractive anti-inflammatory compounds in vitro.

Abstract
A silver-catalyzed nitration/annulation of α-alkynyl arylols is reported by using tert-butyl nitrite (TBN) as a NO2 radical precursor, from which a set of 3-nitrated benzofurans were synthesized with moderate to good yields. This transformation initiated by an in situ generated NO2 radical proceeds efficiently under mild and neutral redox conditions, which provides a new pathway toward the 3-nitrobenzofuran framework via catalytic difunctionalization of internal alkynes.

Abstract
An efficient method for the conversion of aryl amines into arenes by a one-pot reductive deamination has been achieved. It was found the reductive deamination using t-BuONO in tetrahydrofuran could be accelerated by dimethyl sulfoxide and provided the deamination products with good yields under mild conditions. A plausible mechanism is discussed.
