Abstract
We disclose herein a novel photoredox and cobalt co-catalyzed ring-opening/acceptorless dehydrogenative functionalization of mono-donor cyclopropanes. This sustainable and atom-economic approach allows the rapid assembly of a wide range of allylic N,O-acyl-acetal derivatives. The starting materials are readily available and the reaction features mild conditions, broad substrate scope, and excellent functional group compatibility. The optimized conditions accommodate assorted cycloalkylamides and primary, secondary, and tertiary alcohols, with applications in late-stage functionalization of pharmaceutically relevant compounds, stimulating further utility in medicinal chemistry. Moreover, selective nucleophilic substitutions with various carbon nucleophiles were achieved in a one-pot fashion, offering a reliable avenue to access some cyclic and acyclic derivatives.

Abstract
Despite the advances in the area of catalytic alkene hydrosilylation, the enantioselective hydrosilylation of alkenes bearing a heteroatom substituent is scarce. Here we report a rhodium-catalyzed hydrosilylation of β,β-disubstituted enamides to directly afford valuable α-aminosilanes in a highly regio-, diastereo-, and enantioselective manner. Stereodivergent synthesis could be achieved by regulating substrate geometry and ligand configuration to generate all the possible stereoisomers in high enantio-purity.

Abstract
Transition metal (TM)-catalysed directed hydroboration of aliphatic internal olefins which facilitates the construction of complex alkylboronates is an essential synthetic methodology. Here, an efficient method for the borylation of cyclopropanes involving TM-catalysed directed C-C activation has been developed. Upon exposure to neutral Rh(i)-catalyst systems, N-Piv-substituted cyclopropylamines (CPAs) undergo proximal-selective hydroboration with HBpin to provide valuable γ-amino boronates in one step which are otherwise difficult to synthesize by known methods. The enantioenriched substrates can deliver chiral products without erosion of the enantioselectivities. Versatile synthetic utility of the obtained γ-amino boronates is also demonstrated. Experimental and computational mechanistic studies showed the preferred pathway and the origin of this selectivity. This study will enable the further use of CPAs as valuable building blocks for the tunable generation of C-heteroatom or C-C bonds through selective C-C bond activation.

Abstract
Cyclopropylamines are prevalent in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Herein, we report the synthesis of trans-2-substituted cyclopropylamines in high diastereoselectivity from readily available α-chloroaldehydes. The reaction proceeds via trapping of an electrophilic zinc homoenolate with an amine followed by ring closure to generate the cyclopropylamine. We have also observed that cyclopropylamine cis/trans-isomerization occurs in the presence of zinc halide salts and that this process can be turned off by the addition of a polar aprotic cosolvent.

Abstract
A new methodology for site-selective and stereoselective C-H functionalization of aminocyclopropanes via directed remote lithiation has been developed. Treatment of N-directing group (DG = pivaloyl, tetramethylsuccinimidoyl) arylcyclopropanes with t-BuLi results in a clean β-lithiation and, following quench with electrophiles, leads to a range of cyclopropane derivatives. Sequential double lithiation-methylation to give a dimethylated cyclopropane has been achieved. X-ray, NMR, and computational studies allow rationalization of syn-DG β-deprotonation selectivity via a DG-lithium base coordinated complex.

Abstract
We report an asymmetric dearomative silylation reaction of 3-acylindoles using a chiral NHC-copper(I) complex as catalyst to afford a range of cyclic α-aminosilanes with high regio- and enantioselectivity. Initial mechanistic studies revealed that the observed high diastereoselectivity was attributed to the facile epimerization of the 3-acyl group. We also demonstrated that the product could be used as a versatile precursor for the synthesis of functionalized indolines in high enantiomeric purity.

Abstract
A copper-catalyzed C-Si bond formation between N-halogenated amides and Si-B reagents is described. This oxidative coupling enables the silylation of C(sp3)-H bonds α to an amide nitrogen atom. The utility of the new method is demonstrated for sulfonamides, and N-chlorination with tBuOCl and C-H silylation employing CuSCN/4,4'-dimethoxy-2,2'-bipyridine as catalyst can be performed without purification of the N-Cl intermediate.

Abstract
Here we report a set of direct functionalization methods of unmasked 2-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones, a privileged alkaloid core, without the installation/removal event of protecting groups or exogenous coordinating moieties. Divergent pathways were modulated with transition-metal catalysts by suppressing competitive reactivities, leading to N-arylation, annulative π-extension, or C-H fluorination.
