Abstract
In this study, a novel coordination polymer {Co2(Oaobtc)(bpe)(H2O)4]}n (1) was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions using a hybrid ligand synthesis method, where H4Oobtc represents 2,3,3'-tricarboxylate azobenzene, and bpe represents 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene. The obtained CP1 was characterized by elemental analysis (EA), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). Fluorescence testing confirmed the excellent photoluminescent performance of compound 1, indicating its potential as a cyan-emitting fluorescent material. Hyaluronic acid (HA) and carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCS) are natural polysaccharides known for their biocompatibility. HA/CMCS hydrogels were synthesized using a chemical synthesis method, featuring a three-dimensional network structure with interconnected pores, and an average pore size of 314.75 ± 11.25 μm. The characterization of the taxotere-loaded hydrogel was performed using infrared spectroscopy, confirming the effective encapsulation of the drug within the hydrogel. Utilizing taxotere as a model drug, a novel taxotere-loaded metal gel was synthesized, and its anticancer efficacy was evaluated. Furthermore, the influence of different pH levels on drug release rate was investigated. Finally, the encapsulation and release of taxotere in the hydrogel were studied using UV-visible spectroscopy.

Abstract
By employing a mixed-ligand strategy, we synthesized two new coordination polymers (CPs) featuring Co(II): {Co(H2L)(bib)]·2H2O}n (1) and {Co(L)(bib)2]·2H2O}n (2), where H4L represents 5-(3,5-dicarboxybenzyloxy) isophthalic acid, and bib denotes 1,4-bis(1-imidazolyl)benzene. These CPs were obtained through the reaction of H4L, a flexible carboxylic acid ligand, with Co(NO3)2·6H2O in various solvent mixtures, along with the N-donor co-ligand bib. Complexes 1 and 2 are formed through distinct coordination modes, resulting in their distinct structural features and excellent fluorescent properties. Based on ligand-centered fluorescence emission and the blue shift (CP 1) along with red shift (CP 2) characteristics, both complexes show promise for applications in fields such as blue fluorescence sensing materials and luminescent materials. After successfully synthesizing two CPs, CP 1 was chosen as the carrier for loading temozolomide (TMZ). Subsequently, leveraging the unique advantages of hydrogels, we developed a novel metal gel formulation loaded with TMZ. The inhibitory effect of this formulation on the growth of glioblastoma was evaluated. Our results demonstrate a significant suppression of glioblastoma cell proliferation by this system, providing an effective avenue for glioblastoma treatment.

Abstract
Elderly osteoporosis hip fracture has drawn the attention of the researcher. The coordination polymer was now widely used in clinic because their multiple structures and biological activities. In this present research, the new coordination polymer was designed and synthesized and their application values on elderly osteoporosis hip were evaluated. The reaction between Cu(II) salt and 4,4'-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)methylene-bis(benzoic acid) (H2tzmb), an aromatase inhibitor letrozole derivative with the aid of the organic linker 4,4-bipyridine (4,4'-bpy) affords a new coordination polymer based on Cu(II) ions as nodes of {[Cu2(tzmb)2(4,4'-bpy) (μ2-H2O)2(DMA) (H2O)2]·10DMA}n (1). The complex 1 gained is totally investigated with the powder X-ray diffraction study, thermogravimetric analyses, the diffraction of single-crystal X-ray, elemental analysis as well as the Fourier transform infrared spectrometer spectra. The osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cell was measured with the western blotting assay through determining the Runx2 expression. The wnt signaling pathway relative expression in mesenchymal stem cell was detected through the determination of real-time RT-PCR. The cytotoxicity of the compound on the mesenchymal stem cell was determined with CCK-8 assay. The result of single-crystal X-ray diffraction reflects that the complex 1 has crystallized in space group R-3c of trigonal system and exhibits a three-dimensional skeleton architecture on the bases of the SBUs {Cu(tzmb)(μ2-H2O)}n. The western blotting assay results revealed that this compound could significantly promote the osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cell. Besides, the activation of wnt signaling pathway in mesenchymal stem cell was also increased by the compound exposure. Finally, it can be summed up that this compound has excellent application values on the elderly osteoporotic hip fractures treatment by increasing the activation of wnt signaling pathway in mesenchymal stem cell. The results of the CCK-8 assay indicated that the compound has no cytotoxicity on the mesenchymal stem cell. The molecular docking simulation results have identified that only the carboxyl group on the Cu complex exhibits the activity for the hydrogen bond formation, however, the pyridine ring does not have such activity, instead, the pyridine ring only acts as the ligand that binds to the Cu ion. This Cu(II) coordination polymer has excellent application values on the elderly osteoporotic hip fractures treatment by increasing the activation of wnt signaling pathway in mesenchymal stem cell.

Abstract
Via the solvothermal reaction between Zn(II) or Mn(II) salts and 5-(3,4-dicarboxylphenoxy)nicotinic acid (H3L) ligand, a trifunctional N,O-building block having three diverse kinds of functional groups (O-ether, N-pyridyl and COOH), two new coordination polymers (CPs) could be generated, and their chemical formulae respectively are {[Mn3(L)2(H2O)2]·4H2O} (1) and {[Zn(HL)]·NMP} (2). The complex 2 based on Zn(II) possesses high efficiency of fluorescence quenching for the nitrophenol (2,4,6-trinitrophenol, TNP; 4-nitrophenol, 4-NP; 3-nitrophenol, 3-NP; 2-nitrophenol, 2-NP) in the aqueous solution. Furthermore, the treatment activity of compounds on the atherosclerosis was assessed, and relevant mechanism was investigated. First of all, the ELISA assay was used to measure the content of the inflammatory cytokines released into the plasma. Besides, the levels of the NF-κb signaling pathway in the vascular endothelial cells were measured with real time RT-PCR. The hemolysis test was conducted in this research to measure the biocompatibility of the new compound.

Abstract
Three novel coordination polymers (CPs), namely poly[[di-μ-aqua-bis{μ4-3,3'-[(5-carboxylato-1,3-phenylene)bis(oxy)]dibenzoato-κ5O1:O1',O3:O5:O5'}bis(1,10-phenanthroline-κ2N,N')trinickel(II)] dimethylformamide 1.5-solvate trihydrate], {[Ni3(C21H11O8)2(C12H8N2)2(H2O)2]·1.5C3H7NO·3H2O}n, (I), poly[[di-μ-aqua-bis{μ4-3,3'-[(5-carboxylato-1,3-phenylene)bis(oxy)]dibenzoato-κ5O1:O1',O3:O5:O5'}bis(1,10-phenanthroline-κ2N,N')tricobalt(II)] diethylamine disolvate tetrahydrate], {[Co3(C21H11O8)2(C12H8N2)2(H2O)2]·2C2H7N·4H2O}n, (II), and catena-poly[[aqua(1,10-phenanthroline-κ2N,N')zinc(II)]-μ-5-(3-carboxyphenoxy)-3,3'-oxydibenzoato-κ2O1:O3], [Zn(C21H12O8)(C12H8N2)(H2O)]n, (III), have been synthesized by the reaction of different metal ions (Ni2+, Co2+ and Zn2+), 3,3'-[(5-carboxy-1,3-phenylbis(oxy)]dibenzoic acid (H3cpboda) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) under solvothermal conditions. All the CPs were characterized by elemental analysis, single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction, FT-IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. Complexes (I) and (II) have isomorphous structures, featuring similar linear trinuclear structural units, in which the central NiII/CoII atom is located on an inversion centre with a slightly distorted octahedral [NiO6]/[CoO6] geometry. This comprises four carboxylate O-atom donors from two cpboda3- ligands and two O-atom donors from bridging water molecules. The terminal NiII/CoII groups are each connected to the central NiII/CoII cation through two μ1,3-carboxylate groups from two cpboda3- ligands and one water bridge, giving rise to linear trinuclear [M3(μ2-H2O)2(RCOO)4] (M = Ni2+/Co2+) secondary building units (SBUs) and the SBUs develop two-dimensional-networks parallel to the (100) plane via cpboda3- ligands with new (32·4)2(32·83·9)2(34·42.82·94·103) topological structures. Zinc complex (III) displays one-dimensional coordination chains and the five-coordinated Zn atom forms a distorted square-pyramidal [ZnO3N2] geometry, which is completed by two carboxylate O-atom donors from two distinct Hcpboda2- ligands, one O atom from H2O and two N atoms from a chelating phen ligand. Magnetically, CP (I) shows weak ferromagnetic interactions involving the carboxylate groups, and bridging water molecules between the nickel(II) ions, and CP (II) shows antiferromagnetic interactions between the Co2+ ions. The solid-state luminescence properties of CP (III) were examined at ambient temperature and the luminescence sensing of Cr2O72-/CrO42- anions in aqueous solution for (III) has also been investigated.

Abstract
To investigate the effect of the polycarboxylates and metal ions on the assembly and structures of complexes based on a thiophene-containing bis-pyridyl-bis-amide N,N'-bis(pyridine-3-yl)thiophene-2,5-dicarboxamide (3-bptpa) ligand, nine 0D → 3D complexes of [Ni2(3-bptpa)4(1,2-BDC)2(H2O)2] (1), [Ni(3-bptpa)(IP)(H2O)2]·H2O (2), [Ni(3-bptpa)(5-MIP)(H2O)2]·H2O (3), [Ni(3-bptpa)(5-NIP)(H2O)] (4), [Ni(3-bptpa)(5-AIP)]·2H2O (5), [Ni2(OH)(3-bptpa)(1,3,5-BTC)]·DMA·5H2O (6), [Cu(3-bptpa)(5-MIP)]·3H2O (7), [Cu(3-bptpa)(5-AIP)(H2O)0.25]·H2O (8), and [Cu(3-bptpa)(1,3,5-HBTC)] (9) (1,2-H2BDC = 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, H2IP = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid, 5-H2MIP = 5-methylisophthalic acid, 5-H2NIP = 5-nitroisophthalic acid, 5-H2AIP = 5-aminoisophthalic acid, DMA = N,N'-dimethylacetamide, and 1,3,5-H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid) have been hydrothermally/solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by IR, thermogravimetric, powder X-ray diffraction, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is a zero-dimensional (0D) bimetallic complex. Complexes 2 and 3 feature two similar one-dimensional ladderlike structures. Complex 4 displays a two-dimensional (2D) 4-connected network based on single-metallic nodes. Complex 5 shows a 2D double-layer structure containing a pair of 63 [Ni(5-AIP)] honeycomblike sheets. Complex 6 is a 3,5-connected three-dimensional (3D) framework derived from bimetallic nodes and 63 [Ni2(OH)(1,3,5-BTC)] honeycomblike sheets. Complex 7 displays a 2D 4-connected grid based on bimetallic nodes. Complex 8 features a 2D double-layer structure based on two 4-connected [Cu(3-bptpa)(5-AIP)] sheets and bridging coordinated water molecules. Complex 9 is a 2D structure extended by incomplete deprotonation of 1,3,5-HBTC and 3-bptpa linkers. The effect of the metal ions and polycarboxylates on the structures of the title complexes was discussed, and the fluorescent properties of 1-9 were investigated. The carbon paste electrodes bulk-modified by complexes 3, 5, and 6-9 show different electrocatalytic activities for the oxidation of ascorbic acid as well as the reduction of hydrogen peroxide, nitrites, and bromates.
