Abstract
In this work, the direct C-H functionalization reaction of 1,4-dimethoxybenzene with N-hydroxyphthalimide has been disclosed. A previously unknown product of the C-O coupling of 1,4-dimethoxybenzene and N-hydroxyphthalimide was obtained. The reaction proceeded under mild conditions, in which a commercially available manganese-based oxidizing agent was used for generation of a phthalimide-N-oxyl radical. The obtained compound is a promising valuable precursor of O-aryl hydroxylamine.

Abstract
A simple and efficient method for the synthesis of dialdehyde aniline in good yields (up to 83%) is explored using Cu(OTf)2 as the catalyst, Selectfluor as the radical initiator, and DMSO as both the carbon and oxygen sources. Experimental studies indicate that the reaction is achieved by the formylation of two CAr-H bonds, first at the para-position and then at the ortho-position. A possible mechanism is proposed, including the thermal homolysis of Selectfluor, the Cu(II)-facilitated formylation of the CAr-H bonds, and the hydrolysis of the amide under alkaline conditions in air atmosphere.

Abstract
A silver-catalyzed three-component reaction involving alkynes, Selectfluor®, and diethyl phosphite was employed for the one-pot formation of C(sp2)-F and C(sp2)-P bonds to provide an efficient access to β-fluorovinylphosphonates in a highly regio- and stereoselective manner under mild reaction conditions. This reaction is operationally simple and offers an excellent functional group tolerance as well as a broad substrate scope that includes both terminal and internal alkynes. The reaction proceeded through the oxidative generation of a P-centered radical and subsequent fluorine atom transfer.

Abstract
Selectfluor, [1-chloromethyl-4-fluoro-1,4-diazoniabicyclo-[2.2.2]octane bis(tetrafluoroborate)], is not only an important electrophilic fluorinating agent but also a facile and efficient "fluorine-free" functional reagent in other organic reactions. In this Minireview, we will present a brief history of Selectfluor as a transition metal oxidant, fluorine cation and radical initiator in "fluorine-free" functionalizations over the last five years.

Abstract
A novel visible-light-driven decarboxylative coupling of alkyl N-hydroxyphthalimide esters (NHP esters) with quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones has been developed. This C(sp2 )-C(sp3 ) bond-forming transformation exhibits excellent substrate generality with respect to both the coupling partners. Of note, a series of 3-primary alkyl-substituted quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones that were difficult to synthesize by previous methods could be obtained in moderate to excellent yields. Additionally, the mild conditions, easy availability of substrates, wide functional group tolerance and operational simplicity make this protocol practical in the synthesis of 3-alkylated quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones.
