Abstract
Two water-stable indium metal-organic frameworks, (NH2Me2)3[In3(BTB)4] ⋅ 12DMA ⋅ 4.5H2O (In-MOF-1) and (NH2Me2)9[In9O6(BTB)8(H2O)4(DMSO)4] ⋅ 27DMSO ⋅ 21H2O (In-MOF-2) (BTB=4,4',4''-benzene-1,3,5-tribenzoate) with 3D interpenetrated structure has been constructed by regulating solvents. Structure analysis revealed that In-MOF-1 has a three-dimensional (3D) structure with a single metal core, while In-MOF-2 features an octahedron cage constructed by three kinds of metal clusters to further form a 3D structure. The fluorescence investigations showed that In-MOF-1 and In-MOF-2 are potential MOF-based fluorescent sensors to detect acetone and Fe3+ ions in EtOH or water with high sensitivity, excellent selectivity, recyclability and a low limit of detection. Moreover, the fluorescence mechanisms of In-MOF-1 and In-MOF-2 toward acetone and Fe3+ ions were further explained. In addition, In-MOF-2 has higher thermal and framework stability than In-MOF-1. The activated In-MOF-2 presents a high BET surface area of 998.82 m2g-1 and a pore size distribution of 8 to 16 Å. At the same time, In-MOF-2 exhibits high selective CO2 adsorption for CO2/CH4 and CO2/N2, respectively. Furthermore, the adsorption sites and adsorption isotherms were predicted using grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) simulations, and the adsorption energy of the lowest-energy adsorption configuration was calculated using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations.

Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with porosity and functional adjustability have great potential for the removal of organic dyes in the wastewater. Herein, an anionic porous metal-organic framework (MOFs) [Me2NH2]2In2[(TATAB)4(DMF)4]·(DMF)4(H2O)4 (HDU-1) was synthesized, which is constructed from a [In(OOC)4]- cluster and a nitrogen-rich linker H3TATAB (4,4',4″-s-triazine-1,3,5-triyltri-p-aminobenzoic acid). The negatively charged [In(OOC)4]- cluster and uncoordinated -COOH on the linker result in one unit cell of HDU-1 having 8 negative sites. The zeta potential of -20.8 mV dispersed in pure water also shows that HDU-1 possesses negatively charged surface potential. The high electronegativity, water stability, and porosity of HDU-1 can facilitate the ion-exchange and Coulombic interaction. As expected, the HDU-1 exhibits high selectivity and removal rates towards trace cationic dyes with suitable size, such as methylene blue (MB) (96%), Brilliant green (BG) (99.3%), and Victoria blue B (VB) (93.6%).

Integrating Self-Partitioned Pore Space and Amine Functionality into an Aromatic-Rich Coordination Framework with Ph Stability for Effective Purification of C 2 Hydrocarbons. Abstract
A great demand for high-purity C2 hydrocarbons calls for the development of chemically stable porous materials for the effective isolation of C2 hydrocarbons from CH4 and CO2. However, such separations are challenged by their similar physiochemical parameters and have not been systematically studied to date. In this work, we reported a cadmium-based rod-packing coordination framework compound ZJNU-140 of a new 5,6,7-c topology built up from a custom-designed tricarboxylate ligand. The metal-organic framework (MOF) features an aromatic-abundant pore surface, uncoordinated amine functionality, and self-partitioned pore space of suitable size. These structural characteristics act synergistically to provide the MOF with both selective recognition ability and the confinement effect toward C2 hydrocarbons. As a result, the MOF displays promising potential for adsorptive separation of C2-CH4 and C2-CO2 mixtures. The IAST-predicted C2/CH4 and C2/CO2 adsorption selectivities, respectively, fall in the ranges of 7.3-10.2 and 2.1-2.9 at 298 K and 109 kPa. The real separation performance was also confirmed by dynamic breakthrough experiments. In addition, the MOF can maintain skeleton intactness in aqueous solutions with a wide pH range of 3-11, as confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and isotherm measurements, showing no loss of framework integrity and porosity. The excellent hydrostability, considerable uptake capacity, impressive adsorption selectivity, and mild regeneration make ZJNU-140 a promising adsorbent material applied for the separation and purification of C2 hydrocarbons.

Abstract
Water pollution is increasing significantly owing to industrialization and population growth that lead to serious environmental and health issues. Therefore, the design and development of more effective wastewater treatment approaches are necessary due to a significant upsurge in demand for freshwater. More recently, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted attention in environmental science owing to their tunable porosity, unique structure, flexibility, and various composition. Despite these attractive advantages, some drawbacks, including intrinsic fragility, unsatisfied processability, dust formation, and poor reusability, have greatly limited their applications. Therefore, MOFs are often designed as supported-based MOFs (e.g., MOFs-coated composites) or 3D structured composites, such as MOFs-based hydrogels. MOFs-based hydrogels are excellent candidates in the sorption process because of their appropriate adsorption capacity, porous structure, good mechanical properties, durability as well as biodegradable features. In this review, the removal of different pollutants (e.g., synthetic dyes, phosphates, heavy metals, antibiotics, and some organic compounds) from aqueous media has been studied by the adsorption process using MOFs-based hydrogels. The important advancements in the fabrication of MOFs-based hydrogels and their capacities in the adsorption of pollutants under experimental conditions have been discussed. Finally, problems and future perspectives on the adsorption process using MOFs-based hydrogels have been investigated.

Abstract
A highly water and thermally stable metal-organic framework (MOF) Zn2(Pydc)(Ata)2 (1, H2Pydc = 3,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid; HAta = 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole) was synthesized on a large scale using inexpensive commercially available ligands for efficient separation of C2H2 from CH4 and CO2. Compound 1 could take up 47.2 mL/g of C2H2 under ambient conditions but only 33.0 mL/g of CO2 and 19.1 mL/g of CH4. The calculated ideal absorbed solution theory (IAST) selectivities for equimolar C2H2/CO2 and C2H2/CH4 were 5.1 and 21.5, respectively, comparable to those many popular MOFs. The Qst values for C2H2, CO2, and CH4 at a near-zero loading in 1 were 43.1, 32.1, and 22.5 kJ mol−1, respectively. The practical separation performance for C2H2/CO2 mixtures was further confirmed by column breakthrough experiments.

Abstract
On the basis of an undeveloped asymmetrical pyridylcarboxylate ligand, 2-(2-carboxypyridin-4-yl)terephthalic acid (H3CPTA), an indium pyridylcarboxylate framework, [(Me)2NH2]1.5[In1.5(CPTA)2]·5.5NMF·6H2O (1), is synthesized under solvent thermal conditions. 1 displays a 3D anionic framework with a large void space, which contains open square channels with a cross section of 14.6 Å and a pore surface decorated with carboxylic oxygen atoms. Depending on the anionic skeleton and high water stability, 1 exhibits high adsorption selectivity and capacity for cationic dyes in aqueous solution. Furthermore, the luminescence performance illustrates that 1 has selectivity and sensitivity to nitenpyram with good recyclability.

Abstract
Water is vital for the sustenance of all forms of life. Hence, water pollution is a universal crisis for the survival for all forms of life and a hurdle in sustainable development. Textile industry is one of the anthropogenic activities that severely pollutes water bodies. Inefficient dyeing processes result in thousands of tons of synthetic dyes being dumped in water bodies every year. Therefore, the efficient removal of synthetic dyes from wastewater has become a challenging research field. Owing to their tuneable structure-property aspects, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as promising adsorbents for the adsorptive removal of dyes from wastewater and textile effluents. In this perspective, we highlight recent studies involving the application of MOFs for the adsorptive removal of hazardous dye molecules. We also classify the developed MOFs into cationic, anionic, and neutral framework categories to comprehend their suitability for the removal of a given class of dyes.

Abstract
In recent years, with the growing demand for higher capacity, longer cycling life, and higher power and energy density of lithium ion batteries (LIBs), the traditional insertion-based anodes are increasingly considered out of their depth. Herein, attention is paid to the structural reorganization electrode, which is the general term for conversion-based and alloying-based materials according to their common characteristics during the lithiation/delithiation process. This Review summarizes the recent achievements in improving and understanding the lithium storage performance of conversion-based anodes (especially the most widely studied transition metal oxides like Mn-, Fe-, Co-, Ni-, and Cu-based oxides) and alloying-based anodes (mainly including Si-, Sn-, Ge-, and Sb-based materials). The synthesis schemes, morphological control and reaction mechanism of these materials are also included. Finally, viewpoints about the challenges and feasible improvement measures for future development in this direction are given. The aim of this Review is to shed some light on future electrode design trends of structural reorganization anode materials for LIBs.

Abstract
An example of a zinc-tetracarboxylate framework material (FJI-11) was solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. FJI-11 presented 3D cage-stacking frameworks with octahedral cages, cuboctahedral cages and two kinds of 1D channel along the c-axis. In addition, FJI-11 exhibited the excellent selective and effective adsorption of methyl blue (MB) dye by guest molecule exchange, and its adsorption process was in accordance with the second-order kinetic model and the Freundlich model.

A hydrostable cage-based MOF with open metal sites and Lewis basic sites immobilized in the pore surface for efficient separation and purification of natural gas and C 2H 2. Abstract
Design and construction of stable adsorbents for efficient separation and purification of natural gas and C2H2 is fundamentally important in the chemical industry, and hierarchical cage-based MOFs are attractive in this regard due to their intrinsic structural advantages. In this work, a cage-based MOF (termed ZJNU-15) assembled from a tetranuclear Cu4O-based SBU and an amine-functionalized N,O-mixed donor ligand was solvothermally constructed. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies showed that the resulting MOF incorporates two different types of polyhedral cages in the entire network and bears incompatible open copper sites and uncoordinated amine groups immobilized in the pore surface. In view of its intriguing structural features, its gas adsorption properties with respect to C2 hydrocarbons, CO2, and CH4 were systematically investigated, revealing that it could achieve efficient removal of C2 hydrocarbons and CO2 from CH4 as well as separation of a binary C2H2-CO2 mixed gas, which is associated with natural gas and C2H2 separation and purification. At 298 K and 1 atm, for equimolar binary components, the IAST-predicted adsorption selectivities for C2 hydrocarbons over CH4 are above 17.7, while the CO2/CH4 and C2H2/CO2 adsorption selectivities are 5.0 and 4.4, respectively. Notably, stability studies showed that the framework maintained its structural integrity after being immersed in HCl/NaOH aqueous solutions within a pH range of 4-11 at ambient temperature for 24 h, indicating its good hydrolytic stability under harsh chemical conditions, which might lay a solid foundation for its practical applications.
