Abstract
An unprecedented [2 + 3] annulation of N-sulfonyl-1,2,3-triazoles with enaminones is reported for the access of polysubstituted furans. The key to the success of the transformations lies in the use of Rh(II)-Brønsted acid as cooperative catalysts. Unlike the conventional annulations of N-sulfony-l-1,2,3-triazoles, the Rh(II)-azavinyl carbenes species play dual functions in this work, enabled by the cleavage of the C(sp2)-N bond. The mechanism studies suggested that an intermolecular rearrangement of the TsNH- group is crucial to the annulation process.

Abstract
The ability of [1,2,3]triazolobenzoxazinones to act as a source of "hidden" diazo group was discovered. These diazo precursors can be easily prepared by the intramolecular cyclization of 2-(5-iodo-1,2,3-triazolyl)benzoic acids. The Cu-catalyzed capture of the hidden diazo group allows for further functionalization through the denitrogenative pathway. The transformations proceed via the formation of either diazoimine or diazoamide intermediates. Novel routes to various anthranilamides as well as thiolated benzoxazinones were developed using the one-pot cyclization/diazo capture procedure.

Abstract
Novel tosyl- and mesitylsulfonyl-substituted triazaphospholes were synthesized and structurally characterized. In an attempt to prepare the corresponding Au(I)-complexes with stoichiometric amounts of AuCl·S(CH3)2, cyclo-1,3-diphospha(III)-2,4-diazane-AuCl-complexes were obtained instead. Our here presented results offer a new strategy for preparing such coordination compounds selectively in a one-pot approach.

Abstract
A highly efficient formal allylation of dihydronaphthotriazoles with alkenes under rhodium(II) catalysis is reported. Various allyl dihydronaphthalene derivatives were furnished via rhodium(II) azavinyl carbenes with moderate to good yields and excellent chemoselectivity. When monosubstituted alkenes are used, cyclopropanation occurs and good to excellent enantioselectivities have been achieved. Particularly noteworthy is the allylic C(sp2)-H activation instead of traditional C(sp3)-H activation in the formal allylation process.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Benzo[b]furan derivatives are oxygen-containing heterocyclic compounds consisting of fused benzene and furan rings and are present in a large number of natural and non-natural compounds. This class of compounds has a wide spectrum of biological activities, such as antiarrhythmic, anticancer, inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and antiviral. Furthermore, benzo[b]furan derivatives have also been applied in various areas, such as organic electroluminescence device materials and organic dyes, photosensitizing material, organic synthesis as building blocks or intermediates. Because of a broad range of applicability, the synthesis of benzo[b]furan derivative has drawn great attention of chemists and many studies on the synthesis of this class of compounds have been reported recently. This review will give an overview of benzo[b]furan preparation based on studies dating back to the year 2012. OBJECTIVE In this review, recent development in the synthesis of benzo[b]furans are discussed. There has been increasingly new methodologies for the construction of benzo[b]furans skeleton to improve efficiency or develop environmentally friendly procedures. In some studies, reaction mechanisms were also outlined. CONCLUSION Many methods for the synthesis of benzo[b]furans have been reported recently. Most of them involve cyclization or cycloisomerization processes. Unquestionably, more imaginative strategies for the construction of benzo[b]furan skeleton will be established in the near future. Application of known methods to natural products or drug synthesis, on industrial scale for the synthesis of economically or medicinally important benzo[ b]furans will probably be paid attention to.
