Abstract
A highly efficient and straightforward one-pot synthesis of diversely substituted 3,4-dihydroquinazolines and quinazolin-4(3H)-ones has been achieved through a domino three-component assembly reaction of arenediazonium salts, nitriles, and bifunctional aniline derivatives. This new protocol involves three C-N bond formations through the initial formation of N-arylnitrilium intermediates from arenediazonium salts and nitriles, followed by the sequential nucleophilic addition and cyclization reactions with bifunctional anilines, leading to such N-heterocyclic compounds of biological and pharmacological importance. This method offers a simple, expedient, and robust approach with the use of amenable and easily accessible reactants/reagents under metal-free mild conditions, good functional group tolerance, and high efficiency. The synthetic applications were also demonstrated by derivatization of the products obtained from these processes and syntheses of a diverse range of valuable polycyclic N-heterocycles.

Abstract
A highly efficient heterogeneous gold(I)-catalyzed heterocyclization of ynamides with benzyl or indolyl azides has been achieved in 1,2-dichloroethane under mild conditions via a heterogenized α-imino gold carbene intermediate using 5 mol% of SBA-15-anchored strongly hindered NHC-gold(I) complex [IPr-SBA-15-AuNTf2] as the catalyst, delivering a wide range of valuable 2-aminoindoles or 3-amino-β-carbolines in mostly good to excellent yields with high regioselectivity. Furthermore, the new heterogenized NHC-gold(I) complex displays the same catalytic activity as IPrAuNTf2 and is facile to recover by centrifugation of the reaction mixture and can be reused at least seven times without any appreciable drop in its catalytic activity.

Abstract
A simple, cost-effective, and straightforward method for the synthesis of 2,3-disubstituted indole scaffolds has been developed. The present protocol involves copper-mediated tandem hydroamination followed by C-H annulation of unprotected anilines with a wide range of internal alkynes. In the presence of Cu(OAc)2·H2O and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), the reaction proceeds well to afford a variety of substituted indole derivatives in moderate to good yields. This process was found to be compatible with both primary and secondary anilines coupled with aromatic/aliphatic alkynes. High-purity copper nanoparticles can be recovered after the reaction, revealing the cost-effectiveness and environmentally benign feature of the current protocol.

Abstract
We report herein a domino reaction to construct 2-amido-5-fluoropyrroles from CF3-substituted N-allenamides. The in situ generated gem-difluorinated ene-ynamides derived from CF3-substituted N-allenamides, when subjected to silver catalysis with a primary amine, undergo simultaneous hydroamination of the ynamide moiety followed by a 5-endo-trig addition/β-fluoride elimination sequence, enabling the construction of 2-amido-5-fluoropyrroles. This transformation features excellent functional group compatibility. By employing 2-aminophenols, functionalized benzo-oxazoles were produced.

Abstract
A process for the synthesis of C7-functionalized indoles using para-substituted 2-alkynylanilines as starting materials was reported. The process involves a dearomatization, an 1,2-addition by organic lithium or Grignard reagents, an aromatization-driven allylic rearrangement, and a cyclization. A variety of groups including alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, or alkynyl groups were selectively installed at the C7 site of indoles leading to the formation of 2,5,7-trisubstituted indoles.

Abstract
Divergent Pd-catalyzed reaction cascades with various 1,3-diynamides yielding either 2-amino-3-alkynylindoles or 2-amino-4-alkenylquinolines were established. Omitting or adding TBAF (tetrabutylammonium fluoride) to the reaction of N,N-(2-iodophenyl)(4-toluenesulfonyl)-1,3-diynamides with secondary or primary amines in the presence of KOH in THF and catalytic amounts of Pd(PPh3 )4 completely changed the outcome of the reaction. In the absence of TBAF, 2-amino-3-alkynylindoles were the sole products, while the presence of TBAF switched the product formation to 2-amino-4-alkenylquinolines. Deuterium labeling proceeded selectively at the C3 and C11 positions of the 2-amino-4-alkenylquinoline products and this suggests the unprecedented formation of [4]cumulenimines from 1,3-diynamides as reactive key intermediates.
