Abstract
This minireview focuses on recent advancements in organic molecular-to-supramolecular self-assembled room-temperature phosphorescent (RTP) materials and their prospective biomedical applications. RTP materials, having their unique capacity to emit long-lasting phosphorescence at ambient temperature, have piqued researchers' interest in various biological applications, including biosensing, bioimaging, drug delivery, and photodynamic therapy (PDT). These materials have several benefits, including high sensitivity, remarkable photostability, and low cytotoxicity. RTP materials' self-assembly into supramolecular structures improves their performance and broadens their uses. Researchers have built organic RTP systems with long-lasting phosphorescence by leveraging weak noncovalent interactions in aquatic conditions. These materials have demonstrated incredible promise as biosensors that enable sensitive analyte detection and as photosensitizers in PDT that target and sensitize specific cell types. The review also outlines future directions and challenges in developing and utilizing pure organic RTP materials for biological imaging purposes, providing valuable guidelines for their future design and application.

Abstract
The synthesis and crystal structures of the mol-ecular salts of 4-(4-nitro-phen-yl)piperazine with tri-fluoro-acetate, namely, 4-(4-nitro-phen-yl)piperazin-1-ium tri-fluoro-acetate, C10H14N3O2 +·C2F3O2 - (I), and with tri-chloro-acetate, namely, 4-(4-nitro-phen-yl)piperazin-1-ium tri-chloro-acetate, C10H14N3O2 +·C2Cl3O2 -, (II), are reported and compared. A partial positional disorder of the anions was found. In both structures, the piperazine rings adopt a chair conformation, whereas the positions of the nitro-phenyl group on the piperazine ring differ from bis-ectional in (I) to equatorial in (II). In both structures, the supra-molecular assemblies are mono-periodic on the basis of the chain-of-rings motifs supported by aromatic π-π inter-actions. Hirshfeld surface analysis was used to explore the inter-molecular close contacts in both crystals. The most dominant contacts of the Hirshfeld surface of the cation-anion pairs of the asymmetric units are O⋯H/H⋯O, and those with a contribution of halogen atoms: F⋯H/H⋯F in (I) and Cl⋯H/H⋯Cl in (II), respectively.

Abstract
We report the supramolecular self-assembly of cucurbit[8]uril(Q[8]) and 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)piperazine inclusion complex. The complex is cultured in 3 M hydrochloric acid solution under CdCl2 induction conditions to obtain a new crystal, the structure of which was characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The results show that the crystal belongs to the monoclinic crystal system with a C2/m space group. The host–guest interaction ratio of Q[8] and 1-(4-methoxyphenyl) piperazine is 1:2.

Abstract
The structural parameters for the cyclobutanoQ[5-8] family were determined through single crystal X-ray diffraction. It was found that the electropositive cyclobutano methylene protons (CH2) are important in forming interlinking crystal packing arrangements driven by the dipole-dipole interactions between these protons and the portal carbonyl O of a near neighbor. This type of interaction was observed across the whole family. Electrostatic potential maps also confirmed the electropositive nature of the cyclobutano CH2 but, more importantly, it was established that the cavities are electronegative in contrast to classical Q[5-8], which are near neutral.

Abstract
This paper has selected dicyclohexanocucurbit[6]uril (CyH2Q[6]) as the host and 2-phenylbenzimidazole (G) as the guest to investigate the host-guest interaction mode between CyH2Q[6] and G. Under acidic conditions, the complex was characterized using nuclear magnetic resonance, ultraviolet and fluorescence spectroscopy. The results show that the molecular ratio of CyH2Q[6] to G is 2 : 1. The crystals were cultured with ZnCl2 as a structural inducer under acidic conditions and single crystal X-ray diffraction showed that the molecular ratio of CyH2Q[6] to G is 1 : 3. The G@CyH2Q[6] was used as a fluorescent probe to identify metal cations. The probe exhibits a good selective recognition effect toward Fe3+ ions, which involves a reduced fluorescence intensity with a limit of detection of 1.321 × 10-6 mol l-1.
