Abstract
A visible light-enabled synthesis of unsymmetrical ketones has been accomplished by the cross-coupling of α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids and aryldiazonium salts embracing a synergistic eosin Y and Co(OAc)2·4H2O catalysis. The reaction involves decarboxylative aerobic CC bond cleavage, and is endowed with the creation of new C-C and C-O bonds with good substrate scope.

Abstract
Herein, we developed an efficient and transition-metal-free multicomponent coupling reaction for the synthesis of aroyloxyl alkyl iodides. In the reaction among 2,4,6-triarylboroxines, THF, TMSCF3, LiOH, and NaI, five-component reactions could be precisely controlled by modulating CF3SO2Na, supplying one type of aroyloxyl alkyl iodides in moderate to high yields. The reaction exhibits good functional group tolerance and a wide substrate scope and can be easily transformed into other useful compounds. The mechanism is proposed on the basis of the control experiments.

Abstract
Minisci-type reaction is one of the important means to construct C(sp3)-H functionalization of heteroarenes. According to traditional methods, stoichiometric amounts of precious transition metal catalysts and chemical oxidants were required at high temperatures. Here, a green and gentle novel Minisci-type method was developed via visible-light-induced cross-dehydrogenative coupling of heteroarenes with aliphatic C(sp3)-H bonds under oxidant-free and transition-metal-catalyst-free conditions. Only the catalytic equivalent of CF3SO2Na and room temperature were required to maintain an efficient reaction.

Abstract
By merging electrocatalysis and nickel catalysis, a unified strategy has been successfully applied to achieve the decarboxylative cross-coupling of four types of α-oxocarboxylic acids and their derivatives with aryl trimethylammonium salts under mild conditions. Our strategy provides a practical way for preparing aryl ketones, amides, esters, or aldehydes.

Abstract
A Ce-catalyzed strategy is developed to produce biaryl methanones via photooxidative cleavage of C-C double bonds at room temperature. This reaction is performed under air and demonstrates high activity as well as functional group tolerance. A synergistic Ce/ROH catalytic mechanism is also proposed based on the experimental observations. This protocol should be the first successful Ce-catalyzed photooxidation reaction of olefins with air as the oxidant, which would provide inspiration for the development of novel Ce-catalyzed photochemical synthesis processes.
