Abstract
This present review delineates the repertoire of vinyl cyclopropanes and their stuctural analogues to accomplish a wide array of oxa-cycles, aza-cycles, and thia-cycles under transition metal catalysis and metal-free approaches from early 2019 to the present date. The generation of electrophilic π-allyl intermediates and 1-3/1-5-dipolarophile chemistry originating from VCPs are always green, step- and atom-economical and sustainable strategies in comparsion with prefunctionalized and/or C-H activation protocols. Here, the strained ring-system extends its applicability by relieving the strain to undergo a ring-expansion reaction to accomplish 5-9 membered carbo- and heterocyclic systems. The availability of chiral ligands in the ring-expansion reaction of VCPs and their analogues has paved the way to realizing asymmetric synthetic transformations.

Abstract
A groundbreaking approach has been developed for synthesizing 2,4-disubstituted thiazoles using an eco-friendly and metal-free approach. This novel method utilizes methyl aryl ketones, N-bromo-succinimide (NBS), and thioamides in water as a green reaction medium under visible light irradiation. Using NBS as a bromine source, the reaction takes place through an in situ α-bromination method. This approach does not require any catalyst, which makes it exceptionally beneficial for the environment. The advantages of this efficient approach are manifold and include the use of greener conditions, absence of metals, easy isolation of products, cost-effectiveness, non-toxicity, and reliance on renewable energy sources like visible light. Moreover, this technique offers higher product purity and excellent yield, enhancing itsappeal.

Abstract
A novel visible-light-catalyzed tandem radical addition/1,5-hydrogen atom transfer/cyclization cascade of 2-alkynylarylethers with sulfonyl chlorides in 2-methyltetrahydrofuran was developed under photocatalyst- and additive-free conditions. This reaction relies on unique energy transfer and solvent-radical relay strategies to generate sulfonyl radicals for the preparation of a series of sulfonyl-functionalized dihydrobenzofurans in moderate to high yields catalyzed by visible light or solar radiation.

Abstract
A facile and efficient route to dithiolanes starting from donor-acceptor cyclopropanes is reported. Potassium p-toluenethiosulfonate has been established as the reagent of choice for this formal insertion of the disulfide moiety. Using this methodology, dithiolanes have been synthesized in moderate to good yields with high functional group tolerance. Upon treatment with an excess of mCPBA, the corresponding dithiolanes delivered four-membered thietane dioxides, the formal (3+1)-cycloaddition product of D-A cyclopropanes, and sulfur dioxide.
