Abstract
This article reviews the relevant anatomy, imaging features on computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and management of common processes involving the sciatic foramen. The anatomy of the sciatic foramen is complex and provides an important conduit between the pelvis, gluteus, and lower extremity. This paper reviewed the anatomy, common pathologies, and imaging features of this region including trauma, infection, nerve entrapment, tumor spread, hernia, and vascular anomaly.

Abstract
Pseudoaneurysms of the gluteal arteries are rare, often secondary to blunt or penetrating pelvic trauma. These pseudoaneurysms are initially asymptomatic and manifest after a variable delay ranging from a few weeks to many years after the initial trauma. The spontaneous outcome can be fatal in case of rupture. Previously, treatment of gluteal pseudoaneurysms was exclusively surgical, but the advent of endovascular techniques revolutionized management practices by decreasing perioperative morbidity and offering results comparable to those of surgery. We report the case of a patient admitted for emergency management of a ruptured post-traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the superior gluteal artery that had occurred 20 days after penetrating buttock trauma. Selective embolization was successful.

Abstract
Few cases of true superior gluteal artery (SGA) aneurysms have been described in the English-language literature. This is the twenty-second reported case. SGA aneurysms can pose diagnostic problems, specifically when they are non-pulsatile and also therapeutic challenges when they are large. Although more aneurysms are being subjected to endovascular therapies, SGA aneurysmectomy or aneurysmorrhaphy still remain valid therapeutic options, especially in resource-poor settings. Surgery provides quick symptom resolution and still is the only means by which tissue for definitive histological diagnosis can be obtained.

Abstract
Gluteal artery aneurysms (GAAs), classified as true or false, account for <1% of all aneurysms. Of the 175 GAAs reported in the English literature, 20 are true aneurysms, making this case the twenty-first reported true aneurysm and sixth of atherosclerotic origin. We report a true GAA in a 72-year-old woman. Pelvic computed tomography suggested GAA (7.2 × 4.9 cm); subsequently, an endovascular approach allowed definitive diagnosis and treatment-coil embolization. In accordance with the literature and the surgical and clinical success of our case, endovascular embolization of GAAs has emerged as an effective and safe treatment.

Abstract
Gluteal aneurysms are rare entity, whose surgical or endovascular management is traditionally challenging. Infectious source being increasingly more common as the underlying etiology. We herein describe successful implementation of direct thrombin injection as another therapeutic option for these patients.

Abstract
We report the case of an aneurysm of the superior gluteal artery that occurred more than ten years after a pelvic trauma. The diagnosis of this uncommon condition is sometimes difficult because of the predominant neurologic symptoms. Rupture can be life-threatening. The patient was treated by an embolization; thereafter a surgical procedure with control of the internal iliac artery and an endoaneurysmorrhaphy was performed. The main characteristics of this pathology are indicated.
