Abstract
AbstractMechanochemical synthesis of 2,5-disubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazoles was developed as an environmentally benign alternative to conventional solvent-based methods. In the presence of triphenylphosphine and trichloroisocyanuric acid, N-acylbenzotriazoles condense with acylhydrazides leading to oxadiazoles derivatives in good to excellent yields within minutes. The approach circumvents the need for strictly anhydrous conditions, external heating, long reaction times, as well as tedious multistep procedures. A range of substrates with reactive functionalities was also well tolerated.

Abstract
Herein, we report the first example of an effective and green approach for the oxidative cleavage of olefins to carboxylic acids using a 1,2-dibutoxyethane/O2 system under clean conditions. This novel oxidation system also has excellent functional-group tolerance and is applicable for large-scale synthesis. The target products were prepared in good to excellent yields by a one-pot sequential transformation without an external initiator, catalyst, and additive.

Abstract
CDI combined with CH3SO3H was found to be highly effective for the cyclization of
2-aminothiophenol derivatives with carboxylic acids under MW condition. Fourteen benzothiazole derivatives
were synthesized in good yield and their structures were characterized by 1H-NMR, 13CNMR,
IR and mass spectrometry. This simple, rapid synthetic method is believed to provide a useful
process for the synthesis of 2-substituted benzothiazole compounds.
