Abstract
We contributed a new benzimidate chemistry through moisture-insensitive NiII/NiII-FeIII combo-catalysis for a simultaneous 2-3 bond-forming gem-diamidation and amidoindolyzation cascade reaction to construct symmetrical and unsymmetrical gem-(arylmethylene)amides and indolo(arylmethylene)amides, using emerging benzimidate synthons. The operational simplicity, mild nature, generality, and robustness of the strategy were validated through syntheses of a wide range of new molecules, labile sugar-based chiral compounds, and pharmaceuticals with high yields under the same reaction conditions.

Abstract
Symmetrical bisamides of ethylene diamine of type ArCONHCH2CH2NHCOAr undergo anodic C-C bond cleavage in acetonitrile-LiClO4 under controlled-potential electrolysis. The electrogenerated carbocation intermediates react with the solvent acetonitrile to afford unsymmetrical gem-bisamides of type ArCONHCH2NHCOMe in a one-pot reaction. The yields of the latter products are moderate (up to 60%). Other minor products involve two symmetrical gem-bisamides of type ArCONHCH2NHCOAr and MeCONHCH2NHCOMe and fragmentation products (e.g., ArCONHCHO, ArCONH2, and ArCN).

Abstract
Abstract
In this research, Brønsted-acidic ionic liquids N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylethylene-diaminium-N,N′-disulfonic acid trifluoroacetate ([TMEDSA][TFA]2) and pyridinium-N-sulfonic acid hydrogen sulfate ([Py-SO3H][HSO4]) have been introduced as dual-functional catalysts for the green, simple and effective preparation of N,N′-alkylidene bisamides by the reaction of primary amides (2 eq.) with arylaldehydes (1 eq.) under solvent-free conditions. The reaction results and conditions of the catalysts have been compared with the previously reported ones. [TMEDSA][TFA]2 and [Py-SO3H][HSO4] were superior to the previously reported catalysts in terms of two or more of these factors: reaction times (10–45 min), yields (86–98%), temperature and the reaction conditions. Additionally, a plausible and attractive mechanism based on dual functionality of the catalysts has been proposed.

Abstract
For the first time, a new and facile Ag@PM-b-B nanocomposite electrochemical sensor was successfully developed for the detection of glucose. Also, the magnetically recoverable catalyst was easily recycled at least ten times without significant loss of catalytic activity.
