Abstract
Bispyribac-sodium (BIS) is a new broad-spectrum and efficient herbicide, which is widely used for the control of weeds in rice. To protect the human body from the threat of BIS exposure, it is essential to establish a sensitive and simple detection method. In this work, a high-affinity monoclonal antibody against BIS was produced for the first time, and a colloidal gold immunochromatographic strip assay (ICSA) was developed to screen for BIS in rice samples. The visual limit of detection and the calculated limit of detection of the ICSA were 0.2 μg kg-1 and 0.018 μg kg-1, respectively, which could be accurately obtained within 8 min. The average recoveries of BIS ranged from 90.0% to 109.0% in tests, with CVs ranging from 4.0% to 8.9% for rice samples. Therefore, our ICSA would be a good option for the sensitive and rapid detection of BIS in rice samples.

Abstract
In this study, a sensitive monoclonal antibody (mAb) 1B5 against eugenols was prepared based on a novel hapten. Based on this mAb, a paper-based lateral-flow immunoassay (LFIA) was developed using Eu-fluorescent microspheres sensor, that could achieve qualitative and quantitative detection of eugenols within 10 min. Results showed colorimetric values observed by the naked eye were 12.3 µg/kg, 12.3 µg/kg, 37 µg/kg and 111 µg/kg for eugenol, isoeugenol, methyl eugenol, and methyl isoeugenol, respectively, in both water and fish samples. For quantitative detection of eugenol, isoeugenol, methyl eugenol and methyl isoeugenol, the detection ranges were 4.49-48.4 µg/kg, 6.02-66.8 µg/kg, 16.5-150 µg/kg and 47.9-710 µg/kg in water, and 3.9-30.9 µg/kg, 5.9-62.6 µg/kg, 16.7-255 µg/kg, and 44.5-890 µg/kg in fish, respectively. The recovery test and detection in fish demonstrated the reliability of the LFIA in real samples. Therefore, the developed LFIA produced a promising alternative tool for the rapid on-site detection of eugenols.

Abstract
In the study, we discovered zoxamide hapten (ZOX-hapten) by introducing a carboxyl extension chain, combined it with protein to make a complete antigen to immunize mice, and generated a monoclonal antibody (mAb) against ZOX. To identify ZOX residues in grape, tomato, and cucumber samples, we used our anti-ZOX mAb to develop a lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) strip. In grape, tomato, and cucumber samples, the calculated detection limit of the LFIA strip in grape, tomato and cucumber samples was 3.44, 4.78 and 3.53 ng/g, respectively. Using the LFIA strip, the recovery rate from grape samples was 96.4-106.8%, and that from tomato samples was 98.4-107.5%, while the recovery from cucumber samples was 99.4-111.3%. These results showed that our LFIA strip could be expected to achieve rapid screening of ZOX residues in fruits and vegetables.

Abstract
The synthetic antibiotics fluoroquinolones are popular due to their good antibacterial performance and low price, but the risk to human health caused by their residues has attracted great attention. In this study, an ultra-sensitive mAb, 4D7, was prepared with an IC50 of 0.027 ng mL-1 to norfloxacin (NOR) and cross-reactivity of 19.7-47.7% to lomefloxacin (LOM), pefloxacin (PEF), ofloxacin (OFL), enrofloxacin (ENR), ciprofloxacin (CIP), and danofloxacin (DAN). Based on mAb 4D7 and Eu-fluorescent microspheres, a rapid and sensitive immunochromatographic strip was developed for the detection of fluoroquinolone residues in fish and milk. The detection ranges (IC20-IC80) of the strip for the detection of NOR, PEF, LOM, OFL, ENR, CIP and DAN were 0.19-1.1 μg kg-1, 0.39-2.1 μg kg-1, 0.5-2.6 μg kg-1, 0.43-3.3 μg kg-1, 0.61-3.5 μg kg-1, 0.69-5.5 μg kg-1, 0.52-3.4 μg kg-1 in fish, and 0.027-0.19 μg kg-1, 0.049-0.34 μg kg-1, 0.069-0.39 μg kg-1, 0.06-0.41 μg kg-1, 0.089-0.65 μg kg-1, 0.12-0.81 μg kg-1, 0.091-0.52 μg kg-1 in milk, respectively. The recovery rates in spiked sample tests were 88.6-113.6% with a coefficient of variation less than 8.4%. Thus the newly-developed strip was sensitive and reliable for rapid on-site detection of fluoroquinolone residues in fish and milk.

Abstract
Propamocarb is a carbamate fungicide used to control Phytophthora disease. Frequent and large-scale use of propamocarb means that it poses a potential threat to the health of consumers. Monoclonal antibodies against propamocarb were prepared using a hapten of propamocarb that was generated by introducing a benzene ring and a carboxyl group into the structure of propamocarb. A lateral flow immunoassay strip was developed for the detection of propamocarb in tomato and cucumber samples using the gold nanoparticle-labeled antibody. The immunoassay strip was found to provide a visible limit of detection was 5 ng/g and the cut-off value was 250 ng/g for propamocarb in food samples. For quantitative analysis, the calculated limits of detection (LODs) of the immunoassay strip were 1.43 ng/g and 0.44 ng/g in cucumber and tomato, respectively. Using the immunoassay strip, the average recoveries ranged from 95.5 ± 5.4% to 108.8 ± 6.8%, with CVs of 3.1-6.2% for the cucumber, and the average recoveries were 95.1 ± 6.5%-111.9 ± 4.2%, with CVs ranging from 3.7% to 6.8% for tomato samples. All the results demonstrated that the immunoassay strip was suitable for the detection of propamocarb in fruits and vegetables.

Abstract
As a typical triazole fungicide, penconazole (PEN) is widely used in agriculture but has been proven to be toxic. In this study, we designed a new hapten to prepare a highly sensitive and specific anti-PEN monoclonal antibody (mAb) and established a gold nanoparticle-based lateral-flow immunoassay (LFIA) for the detection of PEN residues in watermelon and cucumber. The 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) of the mAb was 0.42 ng/mL and the LFIA strip had a visual limit of detection (vLOD) of 2.5 ng/g and a cut-off value of 10 ng/g in watermelon and cucumbers. The calculated limit of detection (LOD) of the LFIA strip was 0.36 ng/g for watermelon and 0.29 ng/g for cucumber. The LFIA strip also gave a recovery rate of 92.5–109.0% for watermelon samples and 92.5–106.7% for cucumber samples. These results using the LFIA strip are highly consistent with those seen using LC-MS/MS. Thus our developed LFIA strip represents a potentially reliable tool for the rapid on-site screening for PEN in watermelons and cucumbers..

Abstract
A highly sensitive anti-SAH mAb was produced and an LFIA strip was developed to detect tHcy in serum samples after enzymatic hydrolysis.

Abstract
The widespread presence of mycotoxins in nature not only poses a huge health risk to people in terms of food but also causes incalculable losses to the agricultural economy. As a rapidly developing technology in recent years, the mycotoxin immunoassay technology has approached or even surpassed the traditional chromatography technology in some aspects. Using this approach, the lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) has attracted the interest of researchers due to its user-friendly operation, short time consumption, little interference, low cost, and ability to process a large number of samples at the same time. This paper provides an overview of the immunogens commonly used for mycotoxins, the development of antibodies, and the use of gold nanoparticles, quantum dots, carbon nanoparticles, enzymes, and fluorescent microsphere labeling materials for the construction of LFIAs to improve detection sensitivity. The analytical performance, detection substrates, detection limits or detection ranges of LFIA for mycotoxins have been listed in recent years. Finally, we describe the future outlook for the field, predicting that portable mobile detection devices and simultaneous quantitative detection of multiple mycotoxins is one of the important directions for future development.
